   (Sass's POV)
I finally gave up searching for the human. My whole body was sore from all the training sessions with the human. I curled up on the ground and whimpered softly. I have really grown attached to this human, they felt like family to me.
I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep. I began to dream of sweet memories of when I was a hatchling. Playing with the other hatchlings in the beautiful sunlight. Sweet dreams which made me feel safe and comforted.
   (Your POV)
I had found some wild strawberries which tasted super sweet! My eyes scanned my surroundings seeking out one of the glowing barrels to give to Sass. I soon grew tired of looking and hurried back to Sass. Today was the day we were going to jump over the wall!
I jogged back quickly to the camp and heard the most loudest snore I snore heard! I soon found out the loud snoring was coming from Sass. She was fast asleep curled next to the remains of a camp fire from last night.
I approached her quietly and began to stroke her muzzle gently to wake her up. I hummed softly as my fingers ran through Sass's soft feathers. I was amazed at how soft the feathers were!
   (Sass's POV)
My eyes fluttered open as I jolted in surprise to see the human there!  They were making weird cooing sounds which actually was quite pleasant. I watched them as they signaled me to stand. I obeyed and stood up like the human commanded.
I was rewarded with a pat on the forehead, the human started to climb up my leg and onto my back.  I stood still and allowed them to do it. I felt their weird looking talon gently scratch behind my ears. I began to purr happily, enjoying the affection.
    (Your POV)
After I gave Sass some attention, I urged her to move forward. She obeyed the command and began to walk forward. I directed her toward the wall and she came to a halt.
She roared in confusion and I gently urged her on.
"Come on Sass, we have to jump over this wall!" I spoke firmly. Sass seemed to understand, she flapped her wings and leaped up and fluttered a bit. It was a success, she and I safely glided over the wall and I cheered happily.
"We did it girl!" I smiled happily. She looks up at me,her eyes a lightly a different color. I slid off her back and looked around. She was turned, her nose pointed toward a weird glowing thing.
I went over and brushes some of the overgrown grass and some diet. It was one of the flowing barrels, the was Sass's favorite food! My arms wrapped around the heavy barrel as I waddled over to Sass with it. I tossed it up and Sass gobbled it whole without the slightest hint of hesitation!
I smiled as Sass let put a small growl of approval. Well, at least Sass got fed. I looked around at my new surroundings. This place was brand new and it looked like a man never set foot in in. Only of the ancient beasts and other creatures walked among the ruins.
