Chapter I : Basic Information

Welcome to the world of Life.

Life is a virtual reality game which runs in real time with your body. All sensations and emotions felt in-game will be felt in real life also. Therefore, we are not liable for any injuries caused due to the life machine.

Furthermore, Life is perfectly safe for anyone of any ages- granted you follow the age guidelines for the activities inside Life. The sensation of pain is created through brainwaves in your mind and cannot harm you and/or kill you. If you die at any time within Life, you will be awaken and will have to restart from LR (Life Rank) 0.

LR (Life Rank)

LR is a way to record how experienced you are at the game. The higher LR you have, the more respected you will be by NPCs (Non-Playable Characters), and possibly other players.

To increase your LR, you have to collect Experience Points (XP). The number of XP needed to level up is 1000 x LR, so:

LR1= 1000 x 1 = 1000

LR2= 1000 x 2 = 2000

And so on. XP can be gained through a number of activities. However, XP Jars are also available, however they are one of the rarer items in the game (See Chapter x). LR is also a way of unlocking services (See Chapter x).

Servers

Life is a user based piece of hardware, so servers are external. There are the Life Dedicated Servers, which have Rulings of their own. However, you can rent a server from the Life Store, but a Non-Dedicated server has custom rules, and may be unsafe, so proceed with caution,

Maps

Life comes with four playable maps (excluding DLC [Downloadable Content] and Mods). These maps can be up to 400,000 Square Miles (400,000 x 400,000). Below is a list of Maps, their Player Limits, and their sizes:

- Forest (400 Players, 50 Square Miles)

- Town (40 Players, 2 Square Miles)

- Metropolis (800,000 players, 400,000 Square Miles)

- Island (60,000 players, 250 Square Miles)
