I sighed . " —but why not??"
He stayed quiet looking down with scrunched eyebrows and unconsciously pouted lips. His eyes held so many emotions : Pain , Sorrow , Regret , love?
It was silent for about a minute before he responded hesitantly with a groggy voice,
Wait was he— ?
"Because you mean too much to me." He interrupted my thoughts.
I awkwardly looked up at him and instantly felt guilty.
One tear ,
Two,
more continued to slip down his cheek.
I didn't know what to say .
I sighed, "Avri—"
Before I knew it, he abruptly opened his large and black feathery wings, and left me there alone.
I'm sorry ,I mentally said. Of course, I felt guilty. But I wasn't one to freely talk about my emotions. Unlike him, well sometimes. That's why, I don't want him to get hurt by becoming attached to me.
I'm not blind to his stares, I'm not oblivious.
I can only be a friend, nothing more nothing less.
A certain fallen angel became infatuated with a mere human and she made the mistake to
