I never thought I've heard her cry so loudly. Never thought I would hear my parents yelling like that.
Never thought I would hear the words that would change my life forever.
"Claire,  your son. He has brain cancer" I remember at that moment the silence in the air. That last moment of silence. Before her shrieks.  Her screams pierced the ears of those who heard it. Her voice ringing through the long abandoned halls. Until she screamed so loudly her voice cracked, and her lips trembled. Then the tears came. Everybody in the room started crying as she engulfed me into her arms, savoring every moment with me. Remembering the way she used to tuck me in at night. Remembering all the good times. And the times she might never have.
