Sapphire saw the shop and sprinted more, overtaking the twins and came first. The twins skidded to a stop.

"HA! I win!" Sapphire exclaimed and did a snoopy victory dance.

"No fair! You're bigger and older than us. Plus, you're wearing jeans!" Tori defended.

Sapphire just grinned wider. Sonia admitted her defeat and followed her mother to the counter. The two left behind cousins followed too. Sonia and Tori sat beside each other, Mama Victoria sits next to Tori, and Sapphire sat next to Sonia.

"Four special iced cocoa, please, Tok Aba." Mama Victoria said.

"Coming right up, Victoria." Took Aba said. "And whose this beautiful lady here? Your niece?"

"Yes, her name is Sapphire. She moved in with me just today."

"Hello, Sapphire. Welcome to pulau rintis."

Sapphire smiled. "Thank you, Tok Aba."

"You can call me Grandad."

"Okay."

Grandad served their order. Sapphire began to sip her cocoa when she heard a group of kids coming over. She turned around to se three boys and two girls. One girl is wearing pink dress while the other one wears a yellow cap and glasses. The first boy is wearing an orange vest and dinosaur cap. The second boy has black hair and glasses. The last one is chubby and wears a green shirt. The dinosaur cap boy sat down next her.

Sapphire just returned her attention to her drink and listened to Sonia and Tori's dispute whether republic or communist country is better. Hey, they're very smart. The gang seem to notice that the girl beside Boboiboy is new. They were about to introduce themselves when Sapphire asked something to Grandad.

"Grandad, how much is one packet of those cookies?"

Everyone in the shop, except Yaya, stiffened. "Only six ringgits." Yaya said.

"Did you made this?" Sapphire said while handing the money to Yaya. "Yup!"

"Hmmm..." Sapphire opened the packet and took one bite. Outside, she looks like she's tasting the cookie but in the inside, Sapphire feels cold, paling, and dizzy from the terrible flavor. She saw the expecting look of Yaya and forced herself to swallow the cookie. 'Actually its not as bad as Mom's handmade cooking.' Sapphire almost shuddered when she remembered the horrible taste.

"Is it alright? Please be honest." Yaya said.

"Um, its a little dry but it tastes better than my Mom's cooking." Sapphire replied.

"Really! Well, can you please give me a few points to make it better?"

"Sure! Would you like to come to my house?"

"Thank you! But I don't know you're name."

"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Sapphire."

"And mine is Yaya."

The two shakes hands. Yaya returned to her seat, which is at a far end and out of sight of Sapphire, Sapphire sipped her cocoa so much that there's nothing left. 'I can't taste it anymore.' She sighed in relief.

The orange cap boy approached her. "Thanks for not crushing Yaya's feelings."

"It's fine."

"Is it true that Yaya's biscuits is better than your mom's cooking?" The glasses guy asked.

"Yes that's true."

"Your mom can hear you." The glasses girl said while pointing to Mama Victoria.

"She's my aunt. And I don't know your names yet."

"Sorry. My name's Boboiboy and this is Ochobot." "Ying." "Gopal." "Fang"
