Happy Endings

The Date continued

I looked up from Alex and all eyes were on me. I quickly looked back at him and I remembered when I was five and I wanted to marry a prince. I think every little girl at one point wants to become a princess. Something about Alex made him seem like a prince. He was almost perfect. Even though I hardly new him he made me want to say "yes". I tired to say I don't know but, I said "Yes". Everyone who was there started clapping. He slid the ring on my finger, and stood up. He then pulled me close and kissed me. After that they started clapping louder. Something about made everything seem right. Then, I kissed him back. When we were done everyone went back to their dinners. We sat down ate the rest of our dinner and we left. He drove me home and opened up my door. I got out of the car and shut the door. He grabbed my hand and I grabbed his. He walked me to the porch. "Do you want to come in?" , I asked. " I would love to but, I have to work early tomorrow.", He replied. "Ok. Text me?", I asked.
" Of course.", He answered. He kissed me and then started walking back to his car. I walked into my house to see my sister and Jadyn on the couch. "Where is it?", They asked at the Same time. I show them my hand with the ring on it. They stand up and squeal. They stare at it while moving my hand around to see it in different directions. I suddenly remember that I have to meet Zach. I look at my phone and it reads, " 9:50". I go to my room and change into some light-blue ripped jeans and a white shirt. I put on a pair of white Converse and grab my purse. Then, I walked into the living room and start talking to my sister and Jadyn about how Alex proposed. After a few minutes there is a knock at the door. I open the and see a guy with black hair at the door. "Are you ready?", He asked I was a little bit scarred but deep down I felt safe. " Yeah.", I replied.
