"FUCK YOU!!! YOU'RE ALL BASTARDS!" Static Youngblood curses and she storms out of the tavern. She only hears laughter behind her, fueling her anger even more. Why are all these Nobles here anyways?! She questions furiously as she storms down the filthy road, wrapping her arms around herself. The rain poured down, drenching Static as she kicked up mud. She snuck back to the castle right in time for lights out. Because as a single woman, you have little options for a career. Which forced her into working for filthy nobles. "They steal your money and talk about politics or how the other kingdom is doing, they don't care about their citizens! As long as they pay their taxes!" Static mumbles to herself, peeling off her soaked clothes. She dressed herself into a cotton nightgown, that actually went down to her ankles. Barely anything fits her nowadays. When she gets her pay, it goes to her rent. Or more specifically, the bed in the cellar next to 15 other scullery maids, all working at the castle. She plopped down into the bed and held back tears. Martha walked over to her. She was younger than Static, with full brunette hair and hazel eyes. She was always sympathetic, to Static's annoyance. "Hey, are you okay? It's pouring out there!" She says, biting her lip. "Of course I'm fine! This place is just wonderful!" Static screams. She rolls over in her cot, hoping Martha will actually notice the sarcasm this time. A couple of other women glare at Static and make hushing noises. Martha said nothing, just sat next to her. "Well, maybe some day, a nice prince will fall in love with you, and you can get us all out of here-" But she is interupted by Static's glare. Martha looked away, but not before Static spat in her shoes and scooted away from her. Marta moves back to her cot. (Sorry about the writing, it's terrible but it's one AM and I'm trying to write this quickly) Static just threw the blankets over her head and prayed to God that Martha would get married and leave. Because no matter how annoying she is, she deserved better. But Static wasn't going to show it. Never. Not to anybody. She didn't need a man, just a sword.
