Aaron's POV-

I knew their files, I knew them by heart. I reread them every so often to remember my students lives for them. I approached the black cabinet in the corrnor of my office and bedroom, a sense of sudden sadness washed over me as I opened it seeing the names of my children. The papers were messily thrown it folders and placed in the racks, I never was an orderly person, wonder how I got this far.

Name: Connor Last Name: Hades
Age: 2 Sex: Male....

The basic birth information went on and on, I only read these to get to the descriptions of my children....

Connor is special in everyway...says his mother.
"He's stubborn, childish, loud and then some. But he's also my angle and savior, he was there for me and gave me hope after his father's passing. He was just a baby then. Mr.Crests he does not know of this, please don't hurt him anymore than he is."
I sigh at this everytime I read it
"Tell him we love him always and we will find him soon."

I flipped to the next, unable to read about my eldest.

Michael Vigil. My goof.
Michael was born a mystery I found him at my door with nothing but two letters:
One to him, to be opened when he's fifteen, and the other addressed to me.
I remember bringing the boy in and setting him down by the fireplace, he was wrapped in a blanket I refused to take away. I fed and bathed him, knowing this was my next child. Once he was down I opened the letter to me;

Aaron Creasts,

This is Michael Vigil, our son. He is a crypt and is not safe with us...he is not safe with his parents. We've heard he will be with you and your family. Please know we did not want to leave him, abandon him. But we had to, for his sake. Please tell him of our deeds for we do not wish of any secrets or cruel suprises for him in the future. We love him....we love him so so much and that is why we must protect him. Please protect our little boy.
V.

I took a picture of the boy as I do all my new children, yes even I have my parental tendencies. I kept it in this folder for many a year, thirteen to be exact. I smile everytime.

Sarah, my dear Sarah. She was brought to me by her distraught parents, accompanied by her older brother. They were all in tears, not visible due to the rain pouring on them but the redness was enough. They had made the final decision the night before, but none of them actually got over it. Who would?

Sarah was but a baby no larger than a forearm and no older than a few months. A year before I was given Connor and months ago Micheal, I knew they would get along, but a girl. As new as I was to the concept I accepted her into my care and I promised her safety to her family. They took moments to say there last words to Sarah, all in tears, before leaving. They left her a stuffed bear, blanket, and a note. It too was written to her older self. She was beautiful, I knew her brown hair would grow strong and heavy, her dimpled cheeks would present more often as her beautiful smile revealed itself. She truly was the smallest angel I had ever laid my eyes upon.

The clock stroke eleven, it was late....but for my living it was nothing but an hour less of sleep. I was about to close the files and their drawer, but stopped, thought, and smirked to myself.
"We're not done here."
I pulled to drawer out again and lifted the next file, speaking my next child's name.
"Christian Cruz."
