Realization of Heartbreak

There was a moment when it all was real
Laughing and playing, together we could kill
We was the light in each other's world of pain
Rebuilding the pieces in our heart that broke away.

It didn't take long to give into to you...
Giving you my heart was easy to do
Knowing the consequences up ahead
I went into the storm with a leveled head

It went from laughing and playing to more arguments
These females seem to didn't have any common sense
Playing around wasn't cool to me
Being all mine is what I wanted you to be.

Times kept going and I would get upset
But I let it pass cause you loved me best
But eventually I couldn't take it anymore
So I left everything into an open floor.

We caused each other pain after that you see
With my attitude, us fighting, you playing... Things became messy
Then it was time to just let it go
Cause our hearts wasn't in it...like it was before.

Next day, you found another boo
Someone that was cool, but someone I knew
I never thought you would love another girl
But guess I was wrong cause she is now your world

I loved who she was cause we were cool
So I said it was OK even tho my heart was broken into two.
Now we act like we was never together
Trying to be friendly, not to be awkward ever.

I sit at the table seeing y'all being cute
I smile and talk like it's nothing new
But deep down inside my heart continues to ache
Cause my first love has been taken away

We are still friends,that's what we say
And we may text each other all day
Just hoping in my heart that the love won't fade away.

This thing going, Has made me internally ill
But I can't tell them how I feel
People think I'm a joke when I run to you
Saying im stupid cause the things you do

But I guess this is good in certain ways
Now I gotta learn to love myself
My heart will always be yours you know
And in my heart you will always stay
