It wasn't a date, wasn't a date. Keep calm. She was working with me!!!!!
"Hiya Russell put me on a this case with you. Said it would be good for me ex lab rat myself."
We had so much in common. Gotta thank him later.
"Same here wow that's so weird. "
Calm down Sanders you said that in like two seconds flat. So much for acting cool.
"Anyway what we got?"
"Likely just a homeless guy that's died."
"Em you sure about that?"
"Mostly for example no id, no cash or wallet and no clothes...."
"Yeah actually means it probably a body dump."
"Buts there's hardly any evidence to prove that."
She just stared at me guess I was wrong then. Or she was going to kill me or maybe I was wrong and she was going to kill me. Might as well have the best of both worlds.
"Excuse me? One no id we cant traced them also doesn't he look a bit over feed."
Oh that would make sense I just though his body was bloated. Even at that he was probably four or five times my weight. So she was smart and proved me wrong.
"You could say he bitten off more than he could chew."
She did looked amused I know it was a bad joke but better than nothing. Don't want to be stuck in her head as the guy that told her that she was wrong.
"Oh wow that's so bad. How long did spend working on that?"
I started to blush.
"Since I got here, Grissom used to do it all the time."
Oh wait she wont know who he is. Oh.
"Grissom?"
Her confused face made me feel really bad.
"He was my old boss before Russell, he basically raised me in foresenics."
"Well he did a good job."
"You think?"
"He'd be proud."
"Thanks!"
My face must have been so red I could feel it. So much for act cool, idiot.
The rest of the day went pretty quietly as we were doing our own thing actually didn't see much of Morgan till we meet in the lockers.
I knew it would be the best chance and if I did it now no one would get a shot. Just had to build up the courage.
"Hiya."

"I got brass to put out a broadcast for the id of the body."
"Awesome. Em I didn't get anything of the mat he was wrapped in. Nothing special about it only got one hair off it but it wasn't in the system."
"Oh well if we find the guy. We have something to compare to."
"Yeah guess so. Anyway its fine if you say no but wanna go for a drink?"
