Starting from the Start
I am 20 years of age, old I know! I am just about to start my first year at University in Reading, ill be doing a 4 year paramedic course, itll be long...but hopefully worth it. Since it is my first year, I am living in the flats on campus and I have a roommate, 5 in fact. They arent here yet though, ive gotten to uni a day early so I can unpack all my crap as I want to make a good impression on my forever friends (roomates).
First day
So its not the first day, but its the first day that ill be here as im going to unpack early. I leave my house in Swindon at 11am, wave goodbye to my parents, older brother and younger sister and hug them and all that crap. I jump into my car, mercedes SLK 5seater, which is filled to the brim with junk that ill be needing at uni. On the passenger seat next to me, is 2large carrier bags, one is filled with food (crisps, biscuits, fruit, brunch bars...ect) the other filled with drink (water and lemonade).I place the key into the keyhole, turn it and start up the engine. Put my seatbelt on. Wave good bye one last time. Put the car into gear. And off I go. It takes about 3hours to get to the uni in Reading, maybe longer depending on traffic. I turn up BBC Radio 1 and listen to the charts

"I dont care, I love it!" I scream at the top of my voice whilst waitting for the red light to turn green. Green. Off I go again. Roughly half way now. I decided to pull over at the park behind the petrol station to have a quick lunch and check my phone. I turn my mobile data on. 5kik notifications and 2 facebook messages and 1text. The kik messages are from Gemma (my best friend), Nikola (another best friend), Laura (also best friend). Gemma's reads "Hey when you get to uni today we will meet up for dinner yea?!' I replied in agreement.
Nikola's read "Hey, wanna meet up for dinner tonight?!" and then "Gemma invited me thats all." and then "Think she invited laura aswell!" I replied saying something along the lines of "yea cant wait to see you guys!feels like forever".
Laura's read "Hey mousey!" (nicknames from when we were younger "Ill be seeing you tonight! Also I know who youre sharing a room with ;)!" I grinned, I replied, "oh do you now, suppose youll tell me tonight then?!;);)". I checked my facebook messages they were from my best guy friends Sam and Jasom. Sams read "Hey milly! Im going to reading uni too!!! will see u on monday" monday was tomorrow!
Jason's read "Ill be seeing u and everyone else tomz!" l. Jason was Nikolas boyfriend so obviously he would be seeing her, but as hes gonna see me too im guessing hes also going to reading uni! Fun fun fun.

I turned the corner. I saw signposts to the part of the campus I was staying in, LeafWay was the name of the campus area I was in and it was block 27. I saw it. I started getting super excited! 4 years with Laura and Nikola and some others in a flat! I parked my car in the drive way to our flat area. When i say flat...its more like a mini house but with about 6 people staying in it. All the "flats'" were different looking. Long and thin, short and fat and square. Ours was square with a little outy bit.
Unpacking
I opened the wooden door. Took one step inside and gasped, "its massive!" i said aloud to myself.
A voice replied, "isnt it?!" a girl of my age walked in from another room, "Hiya! Im lilian, ill be one of your roommates" said lilian, she seemd super nice!
"Im Milly! Seems we both had the same plan of unpacking early, haha" we both laughed.
Lilian helped me carry my stuff inside and upstairs, since i was second here i chose the second biggest room, but there were only 4 rooms and seeing as it was one of the biggest i would share it with a friend! Nikola or laura, obviously. Lilian helped me unpack. Clothes in the drawers, lamp on the bedside table, duvet and pillow on the bed. Towels in the bathroom up our end of the flat. There were two bathrooms and 4 rooms, on the left side of the flat there was 2 rooms and a bathroom and opposite end there was another 2 rooms and a bathroom, in the middle stairs with led to the door.
I finished unpacking, skipped down the wooden polished steps into the hallway and straight into the lounge, it was quite big, could fit roughly 20 people obviously some would have to stan though. But it was cosy. A fireplace with a telly next to it and 3 black sofas. Lilian was sat on the middle one (they were in a u shape facing the telly) watching Hollyoaks. "You like hollyoaks?!"
she replied "Absoloutely love it!"
"same! can you believe....." and we sat there half watching tv half talking. We started to get to know eachother really well, i ended up inviting her to dinner and i told her about nikola and laura who would be also living with us. Then i realised its 8:25! we have to go meet them in 20minutes! "Lets go get dressed! I expect we will be going clubbing afterwards so wear a nice dress!" we both ran upstairs laughing. Chucking dresses on. Eventually we both found a good dress, mine was pink a bit above my knees. Lilians was aqua and came above her knees aswell but was tight. I texted laura, nikola and gemma on the group convo on kik and told them about lilian and how she is coming to dinner too! They were excited to meet her. We did our makeup, basically just putting more mascara on seeing as we already had makeup on from earlier that day, and did our hair. We jumped into my car and headed for a 15 minute drive towards central Reading. We arrived just on time (9pm) and walked inside the resturant.
