Teenage Love

Chapter 4

Skylar was let out of hospital, the next week on tuesday, Caitlyn came with Sarah to come pick Skylar up from the hospital. Skylar was so surprised when she saw Caitlyn walk in with Sarah, she was dressed read for Sarah to sign the discharge papers, Skylar and Caitlyn were left together alone.

"Caitlyn, what are you doing here?'' Skylar asked shocked.

"Skylar, I dropped out of school, I'm gonna be here for you no matter what,'' said Caitlyn looking into Skylar's eyes.

"You shouldn't have dropped out Caitlyn, your only going to be 17 this year you didn't have to drop out,'' said Skylar angrily.

"I had to Skylar, it was what was best,'' Caitlyn said as she argued her point.

"No it wasn't, you could go so far if you stay in school, do year 11 and do year 12. You could get someone where if you stay in school though Caitlyn,'' Skylar said feeling like this was the wrong choice for Caitlyn.

"Well, what's done is done,'' said Caitlyn ending the arguement.

"Fine,'' Skylar said angrily as she didn't like that Caitlyn had dropped out.

"Skylar, do I get a hug?'' asked Caitlyn smiling this smile at Skylar that Skylar had never seen before, Caitlyn was also trying to change subject.

Skylar walked up to Caitlyn slowly, she wrapped her arms around Caitlyn tightly. Caitlyn wrapped her arms around Skylar's waist, she held the bottom half of Skylar tight so it was against her, Caitlyn didn't want to have to let go of Skylar, she felt so happy at that moment with Skylar in her arms. It didn't take long before Sarah walked back into the room, they slowly unwrapped their arms from around each other, neither of them wanting to let go of each other. Sarah lead the way out of the hospital, Skylar and Caitlyn trailed behind, Caitlyn kept her left arm around Skylar's shoulders as they walked slow down the hallway.

It had been two days, Skylar was going back to school. She was sharing her room with Caitlyn, Caitlyn didn't want to go back to the house that her younger sister died in. She slept in the queen sizred bed of Skylar's with Skylar. Caitlyn was looking for a place to rent, she was working and doing tafe two days a week. Skylar came out into her bedroom already to go to school, she just had to grab her school bag from her bedroom floor.

"You going to school now?'' asked Caitlyn curiously.

"Yeah, grabbing my bag and going to school, wanna come with me?'' Skylar asked hopeful.

"Yeah, I'll grab my bag and go to work from your school,'' said Caitlyn smiling at Skylar.

They walked out the bedroom, they walked downstairs and out the front door. They walked along the footpath, it was a 15 minute walk to the high school Skylar was going to. Skylar had talked to her friends and asked them to meet her at school, they had agreed to. Caitlyn was unsure of her going back to school but knew it was about time to try to get her to get back to normal. They finally got to the school so Skylar went off with her friends straight away, Caitlyn hated to see Skylar walk away but she thought she would be ok without her.

Skylar called Sarah to come pick her up at lunch, she couldn't bare anymore time at school. Skylar didn't want to be near her twin sister anymore, she blamed her dad and her sister for Katrina's death. She hated herself for the death of her best friend, she just wanted to bring Katrina back to life. Sarah walked into the office, she signed Skylar out of school, they walked silently to the van the van of Sarah's. In the van was Kobi, Sophia and Felix, Skylar got in the front seat, they drove off down the seat toward their house. They picked up Caitlyn from work on the way home, she didn't like that Skylar couldn't last even a day at school but she did understand though. She was having a hard time still with the fact Katrina was actually dead and she wasn't coming back or that she wasn't just away at camp.

That afternoon, Caitlyn and Skylar layed on the queen sized bed, Skylar put her hand on Caitlyn's thigh without noticing, so Caitlyn moved her right hand onto Skylar's thigh, as soon as Skylar felt her hand there she realised something. She realised she had a crush on Caitlyn, she realised she wanted Caitlyn. She was so shocked, she kissed Caitlyn's cheek softly, she couldn't control herself, she just wanted to kiss Caitlyn's cheek and couldn't stop herself. Caitlyn kissed up and down Skylar's neck, Skylar pulled Caitlyn's head up so she could look into Caitlyn's beautiful brown eyes and to see her beautiful face, she lent forward and kissed Caitlyn passionately on the lips, Caitlyn kissed her back with passion. 

She pulled away knowing this wasn't the right thing to be doing, she knew this was so wrong and if Katrina was alive it would have coursed her to die all over again, she felt like she had betrayed Katrina. She ran off down the hallway, down the stairs and out the front door. She bolted down the footpath, she need to get away to think about what had just happened.
