katniss POV
chapter 1 we meet
Cato and I have been best friends since we were seven. It all started when he ran into our house screaming that his dad got shot by a peacekeeper. we ran to help him and Cato showed me where he lived. He grabbed my hand and led me to the town square.
Cato POV
it was scary when I saw my dad fall to the ground, I didn't know what to do. I panicked, but then I rembered Katniss Everdeen, her mom was a doter.Wait Katniss Everdeen was the most beautiful girl in district 2.
Snap out of Cato your dad is dying I said to myself
