Lukas's POV:
We have charms with the Gryffindorks next, but we finally get to escape them during and after lunch.

Mathias had been following me around like a lost puppy since this morning, happily talking as Tino and Emil follow behind. Also, a strange boy I don't recognize said 'hi' to Emil, and my brother actually responded in a pleasant matter.

And a Hufflepuff keeps watching the four of us, almost with a longing expression.

I make a note to talk with him when I can.

So far, I have a love hate relationship with Potions. Emil and I have been trained in potions since we were 5, so we are talented. We will likely be the best in the class. Although, that muggleborn boy, Matthew I believe, I can tell he will be a very talented Potioneer.

The hate part is Snape.

He disapproved of everything Mathias did, and insulted him more than once.

I do not stand for my friends being bullied, especially by a professor like Snape.

We reach the Charms room, everyone taking a seat near their friends, but now it's a lot more mixed.

Matthew and Gilbert sat near each other, laughing at something I can't hear. Ivan and Alfred are arguing over astrology next to them. Emma, Vash, Lars, and Elizaveta sat near each other. Then of course the four of us. Arthur was talking with Vlad and Sava, but walked towards Lovino when the bell rang.

Professor Flitwick smiles at us when we direct our attention to him. "Okay, wands out!" We do as told, "good, today we will be working on the levitation charm, Wingardium Leviosa!" He takes out his wand, preforming a motion with his wand.

"As you say it, Wingardium Leviosa, do this motion, swish-and-flick, everyone try without saying the spell." I do mine with grace, while as Mathias is smiling brightly while moving his wand with quite a bit of force behind it.

Professor Flitwick smiles, clapping his hands. "Very good everyone, now, you have until 30 minutes left of class to practice, at that time I will explain how the year will work, commence!"

I turn to the feather, "Wingardium Leviosa!" But it doesn't even move an centimeter, it doesn't move for any of us.

By the end of class, the only ones to get any movement are Francis, Alfred, Ivan, and Vlad.

Francis manages to levitate it 3 feet, Alfred manages 1 foot, Ivan 6 inches, and Vlad got it to lift an inch for 5 seconds.

Mine merely sat there the entire time.

Quite irritating if I do say so myself.

But by Alfred's smirking at Ivan, I know the ultimate competition will be between those two.

The bell rings, meaning it's time for lunch.

Finally.

Leon's POV:
'Smart arse.'

I think as I stare at Camille, who is walking in front of me, smiling and laughing with Michelle.

I have nothing again her, she's actually quite nice, she just...is annoyingly smart. She answered every single one of Snapes questions, even the ones not in our textbooks, correctly and I've seen her do a bit of advanced magic in between classes and last night.
