So I'm pretty new with this idea of fan fiction so please bear with me as I try to be cool and witty. I like to interact with fellow Amourshippers so please feel free to comment :D

Serena's POV

The time was 10, maybe 10:20. I didn't realize how fast the time had passed, and the people around me seemed to be the same way. They were all still buzzing with life and glee. I looked around to see all the ladies and all the gentlemen dressed in a beautiful and fine fashion. This baroque style of entertainment is something I truly enjoy about Kalos.

The song...or well should I say piece concluded and a man in his 40's with a salmon suit stood on the stage and greeted us with a fine loud yet steady voice.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the ballroom, thank you for joining our annual Anistar ball. All the ladies look like fine young princesses and the men look like fine wine!"

The man's voice was smooth and relaxing. It was at that moment when I realized how exhausted I truly was. I let out a big yawn as a result. My dance partner in front of me gave me a weird glance and turned back towards the man.

"Tonight has been a wonderful night, and hopefully you wonderful guests have been enjoying the party as well!"

We all gave an applause of appreciation towards his words

"Well now ladies and gentlemen, this will be the last dance of the night, so if you have a particular dance partner you may want to be with at the moment, now is the time to go off and dance with them!"

My heart started to beat faster at the thought of finally being able to dance with Ash. All night long we've been rotating partners and dancing and rotating in a continuous cycle of unending sway and pirouette. Nothing was stopping us now

"Hey Ash!" I yelled out loud

Everyone looked towards me in a confused look, but I truly didn't care.

I looked around forcefully, and eternally. I started to grow more frustrated at my desperation, but I couldn't help it.

I had finally gotten my eye on him, but I saw him alongside a girl with a white gown, short blue hair, and eyes redder than the boiling fire of hell which now rose throughout my entire body.

Miette grabbed Ash by the hand and she changed her tone of voice towards a more seductive and silky voice.

"Oh Ash, I've been dying to have the opportunity to finally dance with the man of the hour."

Ash looked at her with a look of transfixed confusion.

"Oh Ash you look so confused, so lost. Grab my hand and let me guide you towards a dance of delight."

She gave her that look of want which would make any guy immediately fall for the trap being laid down by the hunter.

My eyes started to tear up at the sight. Ash gave in and wrapped his arms around her waist and they started to dance. I hid my hands in my face and ran towards the doors.

All the dancers were with their amour, so they didn't notice my outburst of tears.

Meanwhile with Ash

Ash's POV

This feeling of utter satisfaction was nothing like I had ever felt before, this feeling of floating through a gentle-oh shit Serena.
