Noah's POV:
I woke up with Peyton still in my arms. She was still holding onto my hand loosely, and that immediately put a smile on my face. She was still sleeping, her hair slightly covering her face. Disney can die...coz Peyton is truly my kind of sleeping beauty. Ok that was a little to cheesy Noah. Do not try make those things up again. Peyton's slowly opened her eyes, meeting my gaze.
"Good morning Princess," I said.
"Good morning Noah," she whispered tightening her grip on my hand.
"Did you sleep well?" I asked.
"Compared to every single nap and sleep I had in the past year...yes," she replied.
Peyton and I sat up, looking at each other smiling. She looked like she wasn't as sick as she was yesterday. I placed my hand on her forehead. Not entirely better yet, but it's still an improvement. She leaned her head against my shoulder placing a kiss right behind my ear. I did the same, wrapping an arm around her waist.
Just then a nurse walking in, stopping right at the door. Peyton and I pulled away from each other, our faces reddening. But I guess we weren't doing anything...like...bad. The nurse just stood here, probably thinking about what to say in such an awkward situation. She finally snapped back to reality, clearing her throat.
"Ummm...Dr Nickolas would like to see both of you," she stammered.
"Oh okay," I said, getting off the bed.
Peyton and I followed the nurse to Dr Nickolas, who was waiting for us. He smiled and asked us to sit down, so we did.
"How are you feeling today Peyton?" he asked.
"Much better, thank you," she managed to say.
"We do believe that you're able to go home now. Just stay cautious and don't overwork yourself. Remember to just stop stressing and think about better things that can make you happy. So basically, take care of yourself...and you'd be okay," Dr Nickolas explained.
Peyton nodded her head. Dr Nickolas gave us permission to leave and go home, seeing that she feels better now. I held onto her hand and walked out of the hospital with her. Kyle drove my car here for me yesterday, and then he left with the others. We climbed into the car and drove back home.
A few minutes later, Peyton and I were engaged in a long conversation, like no one was even existent. She was talking about High School and I was just listening to her speak. Her voice was just...calming? I don't know if that' the right word for this situation, but that wasn't what I was thinking about now.
"And our teacher was so stupid. She was doing ridiculous hand gestures as she spoke, and ended up spilling coloured water on my friends' dress. So my friend's white expensive dress looked like a failed tie-dye project," she said.
"Oh my lord, did she pay her back or something?" Noah asked.
"Pfft...no. I told you...she's so stupid!" Peyton mumbled.
"Hey...um...do you want to talk outside and walk. They say sicknesses happen mostly if you stay indoors too long," I offered.
Peyton nodded her head smiling. I grabbed my leather jacket and handed it to her, signalling her to wear it. She nodded her head and slipped it on, holding her hand out. I held onto her hand and placed a playful childish kiss on it. She laughed and walked out with me as I quickly locked the door. It was quite a good weather for a walk. Not too hot, and not too cold.
"Well I had a teacher who always had a fat brown snot up her nose. She suspended me for about a week," I started.
"Why?" Peyton probed.
