Third Person
"Sebastian, I order you to catch that girl!" yelled the noble. He watched as his loyal butler bowed and ran off. The butler couldn't seem to find any traces of the girl. Then, he heard the faintest of noises. Looking to the left, the butler was too slow and a card cut him across the forehead.
"Huh, he did send the butler. How nice of him. So tell me, what're you orders?" The girl's voice filled the alleyway but there was no sign of her.
"I was told to catch you which you are making it the simple task at the moment." The blue haired girl raised an eyebrow from her spot in the shadows.
"Oh? Do tell."
"Well, now that I know where you are, all I have to do is take a few steps and you're my master's." At this the teenager started to smirk and casually step out into the open.
The raven haired butler looked confused until he was snapped out of his daze when another card sliced across his head, letting out a small stream of blood.
The butler's eyes flashed dangerously as he started advancing towards her. The girl stepped back and glanced around for any possible exits. She quickly grasped the nearby latter and swung herself up onto the fire escape right as the butler pounced. Alexa took off at a dead sprint, heading to the roof where she knew many hiding spots laid. She could hear the faint footsteps of the crimson eyed man behind her. As she went to round the corner, hands gripped onto her and yanked her back against a hard chest. She struggled until Sebastian tightened his grip, cutting off all movement.
"You are such a nuisance," Sebastian grumbled as he threw her over his shoulder and started back towards the carriage. The teen huffed and made herself comfortable against him.
"How did you get your job?" Sebastian blinked in surprise at the question.
"My master hired me after a terrible accident happened and his family was killed. He became the Earl of the household and I, his loyal servant."
"You don't strike me as the butler type. You seem like you should be of higher status but I suppose to each their own."
"And you? How did you receive the duty of a bounty hunter?" The girl tensed lightly at the question.
"It's a long and frustrating story. I don't care to talk about how I came to be the way I am today." Sebastian took this into stride as they arrived at the carriage. Sebastian set her down and helped her into a seat before getting in next to her.
"What took you so long, Sebastian?" The teenage boy across from the pair looked irritated.
"My apologies, my lord. Miss... Ace is faster than I originally anticipated." Alexa gave a careless shrug.
"Maybe you're just slow." She leaned back against the seat and looked out the window, her face completely void of emotion. Ciel watched her curiously as the carriage took off. He wanted to know where she came from, why she looked like she had seem what nightmares are truly made of, and most of all, why she looked so damn familiar. He couldn't for the life of him place where he had seen the mysterious girl across him. Ciel stole a glance at Sebastian, only to find him looking right back at him.
Sebastian looked between the two young adults with speculation. He was attempting to piece together the puzzle pieces of why they looked similar. As his thoughts began to wonder and theories began to form, he was hit with the possible answer.
'What if she's the Earl's missing twin?'
It would explain the similar appearance, the covered eye, and the same look in their eyes when they get lost in thought. As the ride to the manor grew longer, Alexa fell asleep, slumped against the side of the carriage. She was pale and looked quite drained.
"Young Lord?" Ciel gazed out the window and gave a hum in reply. "Could it be possible that Miss. Ace is actually Miss. Alexa?" Ciel turned and stared at Sebastian with a heartbroken look in his eyes.
"If it is a possibility, I want to know. My sister has been missing for seven years, Sebastian. It would be a miracle if she were to still be alive. Look into it, that's an order."
"Yes, my Lord."
