The next day I walked in with a white skirt, and a very professional blazer. With a pair of plain red stilletoes. My hair was up in a high bun making me look a little more sophisticated.
I walked straight to my office ignoring the cold glare of my boss through the glass window. I don't even think I took one step into the office before I heard the annoying buzz, then my bosses voice following.
"Miss.Mitchel can you come to my office please." He said his voice holding nothing , but anger.
I sighed throwing my purse down making my way to his office. The black curtains already blocking the view of him.
I opened the door slowly walking in as it closed behind me. I walked in trying to avoid eye contact as much as possible.
There was that uncomfortable silence after I sat down making me squirm uncontrollably.
"Look...I'm sorry about yesterday , all of it that's a side of me I hope you'll never see again." He said, which made me finally look at him.
The stubble was still building on his face, and his hair disheveled. Like he woke up, and put on a suite.
I hope he brushed his teeth...
"Apology accepted." I said getting up, trying to speed walk to the door.
"Wait." He said sounding a little annoyed that I ran out...well almost ran out.
I whipped around trying to keep my calm because the honest to God truth was that I didn't want to even be here right now.
"There's a meeting tomorrow in Chicago, and I have to take you." He said as if I were a disgrace on the company.
"Okay, what time should I be here tomorrow?" I asked holding my tongue of what I really wanted to say.
"I'm going to pick you up tonight. I expect you to have two days of clothes, and pajamas. You'll stay in the same suite as me. Just in a different room." He said, and I basically passed out.
How in the hell am I going to spend two days with this melodramatic, bipolar, man?
"Can't we have different suites?" I whined, and he rubbed his fingers over his temples looking as if counting to ten.
"No, all the rooms were booked, trust me its a presidential suite it'll be big enough. You won't even know I'm there." He said giving me a slight smile as if to reassure me.
I took a deep breath straightening out my dress giving him a nod.
"You do know where I live...right?" I asked, and he nodded.
"Its in my computer." I sighed walking out to my office.
Two whole days with this man!
That's when the light bulb went off.
Pajamas ... I don't have the sexiest pajamas usually a big T-shirt, and sweats. But I know a certain girl who has some bomb ass lingerie.
She was probably going to throw another fit, and tell me to stop seducing the damn man. But I liked it because he was married.
He was taken.
Like that ring was a caution sign for sluts. Please stand by this man is on hold.
A smile broke through my lips as I swung around in my chair.
I don't think I was ever this excited to be with a man.
By the time I got home it was nine, and no matter how much I begged Maddy she wouldn't let me borrow her lingerie for what me ,and my married boss were about to indulge in.
