you were a piano
and you often played the
softest music
and no matter how hard
i tried to create music with your keys
i just couldn't
that was when i realized
i wasn't supposed to create music
i was supposed to be one of the keys
but it was too late
they locked you away
and refused to let you out
all because you had
a missing key
