Leonardo's Building

Raven's POV

"I'll tell you but..." Leonardo looked at me.

I learned about his name using owl's eye.

"You also have to answer my question." He added.

I nodded. Seemed fair to me.

I'll decide whether I'll kill him or not after this. But with that much knowledge about me and my past, his existence will forever be a threat to my existence.

What's important is for me to get the information I want and that is...

"Who told you about my ability?" I asked.

He smiled. "Aren't we too excited." He crossed his arms on his chest. "Let's have that at the finale shall we?"

I intently looked at him.

I give him the do i care about the finale stare.

"C'mon, don't you have any question? I have higher stakes on that." He tried bargaining with me.

I exhaled.

Well, indeed, i have another question but I am contemplating whether I should prolong this conversation or not.

Who knows if he is intentionally prolonging our conversation for a possible back up.

Regardless, the locator is no longer near Leonardo.

I activated eye spy on August, the raven I instructed to follow the locator, V. According to owl's eye that is his real name but I guess Mu was his alias.

He is fast. Seeing his route, he seemed to be on his way to Vegaz City, the next big city near this place.

As long as I can ensure Leonardo can not get Mu's services, whatever form of back up may come I definitely can escape.

"Fine." I stated after studying my options. "Why are you after my ability?" I asked.

He looked serious.

Contemplating.

I do not know why it seemed he did not expect that question when in fact it is the only question I wanted to ask aside from my first question.

He sighed. "I need my son. I want him back to life."

I was taken aback. He does not seem to care to anyone really. But if he is doing all this for his son, I don't think I can kill him after our conversation.

I know how powerful a parent's love and I will always respect that.

"My technique is not for you." I stated. "He will be like a living corpse. No emotion. Just a machine who follows your orders."

"Exactly." He laughed. "That is how I want my son to be. You see my business is experiencing a down turn because I lost my son. He is the greatest killing machine but he is emotionally weak. Killing, murdering it haunts him. Eventually he killed himself."

My grip tightened.

Asshole.

I thought he was a good man just driven by an impossible goal.

But he is purely evil.

He can never have my ability.

"Now, it's my turn to ask." He clasped his hand. "How where you able to kill the elite ten?"

"Divide and conquer. They are undefeatable together but not as individuals."

He looked at me. Encouraging me to explain more. "Some where not even able to fight back because I attacked when they least expected it."

It was best that way.

I learned the assasin's way when I dedicated my life in hunting the notorious dark horse member.

I know it is impossible to defeat them.

I believed I have a higher chance of defeating them if I caught them off guard.

And my plan worked.

"How do you know their location?" He followed up his question.

"My turn." I stated. Ignoring his question.

"How did you know about me and my ability?"

He shook his head. "Too fast."

I give him an intent look. "Answer me. I have no other question left for you."

I conjured the glass sword.

"Okay. oka-" He did not finish his statement.

He turned pale.

He started holding his chest. "Help-"

I was about to hold him but his skin started boiling.

"Damn! You cannot die" I immediately released an enhancer's aura while not touching him and tried to heal him.

"Impossible." I bit my lip. He died too fast.

I cannot think of anyone who would kill him at such time when he is about to tell me about his informant other than his informant.

But who? Who can possibly do this?

"Have you seen anyone near the area, May and November?" I mentally asked the ravens who are guarding Leonardo's building.

"I noticed no one dude." November replied.

"Same here." May stated.

"He's dead. That informant seemed dangerous. What's your plan now?" November asked.

"I need to find that informant."

I looked at Leonardo's dead body.

"And I think I just know someone who can."
