Chapter 11

"You were asleep for 2 weeks. They didn't think you would wake up, but I did. They were going to leave you, but not me or dekoda. There all asleep, it is night time right now." Matt said. "Two weeks? I don't remember anything but when I was bite, and they wanted to leave me?!?" I said. "I think you need some rest, you look tired." Matt said in a soft voice.

"Wait a minute, how am I not dead or infected?" I asked very shocked. "I am asking myself the same question." Matt said. "I have an other question." I said. "What is it?" He asked. "Who died? I saw someone died." I said in a serious voice. "Kaden, now Dekoda shares a room with the baby's and Josh has his own room." Matt said back in a serious voice.

Before I could say anything back, I fell asleep. I could hear him say good night as I dozed off.

I woke up the next day and saw Matt in the other bed. I got out of bed and walked to the kitchen in my pj' s. I saw Jane cooking breakfast(pancakes). She saw me and ran to me.

"I thought you were dead." She said. "I thought I was too." I said. "Can I ask you a serious question?" I asked. "Sure." She said back. "I didn't die or get infected,how is that possible. You should know, you are the wise one." I said.

"Maybe, something happened to you as a baby,or you are just special. I have no clue." Jane said. "My parents were very good scientists, they could have done something to me with chemicals." I said. "Yeah, that is a good guess." Jane said.

" Matt also said that he was the only one who that thought I would make it, that is heartbreaking. You are a friend and you were going to leave me. I don't even know Matt as well as I know you." I said. "It is not what it seems like." Jane said. I walked out very madly. I ran back to my room and woke Matt up." Wake up, we need to leave.
