Same Time

Prologue

"Can you tell me something?" she asked.

While fiddling with his hair. He just looked at her and nodded.

"Why did you pick me out of any girl in the school?"

He paused... then finally said "You are different and undiscovered, I wanted to discover you." he said slightly blushing.

She just smiled thinking about how she could get so lucky... but did she get lucky? What if there was another reason he was with her. But why would he do that, she thought smiling to herself.

She looked at her phone and her jaw dropped. She pushed him off her lap and got up, he looked at her shocked. She was still looking at her phone when a tear ran down her cheek. He got up and walked towards her, she looked up at him and took a few steps back. She kept backing up as he got closer until she ran into the wall, she dropped her phone ducked under his now open arms and ran upstairs. He picked up her phone and saw a picture of him... With Casey. Someone took a picture of him and another guy making out and sent it to her. She knows... She knows I'm gay.

He walked upstairs and found her sitting there with his shoes and jacket.

She looked away and said very quietly,"I want you to leave and never talk to me again. I want you out of my life. I opened up to you and you let me fall.What was I your cover up for being gay?"

She asked straight faced, staring at him. He looked down at the floor. She let out an irritated laugh and started to cry.

She threw down his jacket and shoes and whispered under her breath,"I hate you." Those three little words pierced his heart.

He picked up his jacket and shoes and looked at her once more and said,"Can i expl..."

She raised her hand and cut him off. She pointed towards the door motioning for him to leave. He put on his shoes and jacket opened the door and stopped as she said,"i hope you are happy with 'him'."

He felt angry at the way she said 'him'. He turned around, but from there he forgot everything...
