I am Lyra Heichou and I'm 18 years old. My father Levi left me and my mother when I was three. I am basically the female version of him. I am now a Captain on the south side but transferring to the North side of the three walls. Unluckily I'm going with my best friend Area, who basically is boy crazy. She can turn into a titan and that's why she has to come with me. I've tried to tell the commander that I'm the world's strongest female soldier but they said she wasn't coming for protection but because on the north side has a boy who can turn into one as well.
I ride through the fields with Area, while she blabs on. "Hey Lyra do you think there are any cute boys there"? She says. We ride through the gates. She asks one more question while we ride up to the whole north side troop. "Do you think we'll meet our soulmates"? I finally lose my shit. "Oh my god Area I don't care"! I say. She shuts up and we turn the corner. I see my father standing here. Oh I'm such a Twat. I sigh and step off my horse. "Need help there Captain Short-Stack"? Area teases. I growl. "It's Captain Lyra Heichou to you and if I wasn't the height of a 12 year old girl I would rip your head off". I threaten her and she puts her hands up in defeat. I stare at my father. "Papa". I whisper and a tear falls down my face. I climb on my horse and get something out of my bag. I pull out a picture of me when I was a baby and my parents. I glance at the picture then at my father just to check. "The Heichou's were happy once". I say and put it back in the bag. Area pulls me off the horse and I'm left there hanging in the stirrup. I sigh and flip out of the hanging position onto the floor. The commander walks out. "Everyone meet Captain Lyra Heichou" He says. "Filthy brats". I say and the commander sighs. "Hostile as ever and Meet Area Yanger who is in the same position as Eren with the titan forms". He says. My father walks up and touches my cheek. "Lyra I haven't seen you in-". He says. "13 years asshole". I interrupt him and he hangs his head. I hug him and walk off into the HQ.
