I must be hearing things. It's the only explanation for what I just heard.

"You heard what I told you?" He said with a calmer tone of voice.

I turned to him, still dumbfounded, and nodded.

"I'm not gonna do any harm if you talk to me, you know?" He said as he turned to the front. I was more or less than two minutes to look trim it before to swallow and respond.

"No."

With this answer he turned quickly to me. I winced as possible, leaning my back the most possible to the car door. He looked at me with an emotion. An emotion that I don't know if it was hurt, sadness or simply anger. But this emotion was spread all over his face.

"Why do you say that? I didn't do you any harm. believe And that my friend wanted to treated you a lot worse." He said quietly and looking directly to me, as if he can see through my soul.

Instead of answering him I froze staring into his eyes. What was a terrible idea, because the next thing he did was get closer to and pulling me by the arm, causing our faces get only a two fingers distance.

"I was so disagreeable to you?" He whispered close to my lips. I swear, if he does not scare me as much as it scares I would have kissed him right there. That husky, soft voice, out of those soft, rosy lips were itself a den of perdition. But once you look at my swerved up, it was as if my body had lost all its heat, plunging my mind again into fear. Because I encountered his two spheres focused on me, cold and without any feeling express in them.

Unable to to look further into that cold gaze, averted my attention to where our skins were touching violently. Feeling, then, a burning in the arm, since he had gone back to pressing so hard that my arm was already with bruises that would be hard to cover up. He also must have looked there because his next action was to drop me and ,as far as possible, move away.

I grabbed my arm and tried to gently ease the pain he felt, but the only result was a sigh of agony that escaped from my dry lips.

"I. .. Well, I don't ..." He tried to form a sentence. "I'm sorry. I do not want you hurting. Seriously. I you had no intentions of you ..." He did not finish his sentence. And I curiously looked up, finding him with a look of regret and guilt so striking that it appeared he would start crying at any moment.

"Can you let me go?" I said in a low voice. "I promise I will not say anything to anyone and you never see me again ..." I tried to persuade him to let me go. "The police will not know anything ... please ..." My voice was weak and raspy due to my small moment of crying earlier.

He just shook his head. He turned to the wheel. Put his seatbelt. And started to drive, but not before looking again for my dark arm, which was close to my chest and protected by my other arm.

...

I open my eyes encountering me with the bad weather that is out of this car. I think I must have lost consciousness for a few minutes. I look at the clock that is on top of the small radio that the car has, and repair that passed about fifteen minutes. I fell asleep for only fifteen minutes.

Now I note the car is parked. And the driver's seat is empty.

I look out the window and see a big sign ... has the shape of a cross and is surrounded by panels of green lights, forming a sequence that extends from the center to the outside of the cross without stopping. This green light lets me know that logo is a pharmacy.

But it is not just any pharmacy. I know very well where this is located. Because is only a block from my house. I usually get through here in the summer, when I come from my favourite ice cream shop , and when my dad forgets to buy my medication before coming home and I have to come to in a hurry buy it here.
