Unnie Edwards

"That was the best concert I've ever been to!" I had my right arm lifted over my head as I danced my way from the venue.

"I agree! Did you see Zayn?! Man, I would like to have a slice of that" my friend Marie said with a smirk on her face. I couldn't help at laugh at her comment. That girl doesn't have a filter I swear.

We had just attended the One Direction concert and it was beyond amazing! The whole night had been just perfect and I'm probably never gonna be able to top this night, ever. Maybe the day I get married but otherwise no.

"Hey Unnie, shall we go out and have a few drinks now or do you need to go home? I know you have work tomorrow" Marie looks at me with hope in her eyes but she pretty much knows that I'm gonna turn her down. I've got a huge presentation due till Monday and today is Saturday so yes I really need to work tomorrow if I'm gonna be able to round-kick that presentations ass on Monday.

"I'm sorry Marie, I really need to prepare for the presentation" I say while looking down on my feet, suddenly not as excited and wired up as I was few minutes ago. Some days I really hated my job because of the amount of time it takes from my spare time.

Marie nods while putting back a hair strand behind her ear. Her long dark hair, cover half of her face. But she smiles at me and gives me a long hug.

"Thank you for tonight though" she says while her face is nuzzled into the crock of my neck. "And I know you're gonna ace that presentation on Monday!" She let's go of me and pulls back a bit.

"Thank you Marie both for tonight and for believing in me" I respond with a genuine smile. That girl is the best friend anyone can have.

We go our separate ways as I steer my steps towards my flat. It's just a few blocks away from the venue where the concert took place so I figured I could walk the short distance.

About 10 minutes later I'm outside my door, it'd gotten dark outside and I'm starting to freeze in my denim jeans shorts and One Direction merch tee.

"Winters coming" I mumble to myself quoting Game of Thrones as I grab my keys from the bottom of my purse as I look up at the dark. I could see the stars beginning to show on the late August sky.

I got into my flat, dropped my keys on the floor along with my purse and I kicked off my Keds’ in one quick movement.

I begin walking towards my bathroom and while walking I pull my tee over my head, dropping it on the floor. I pull out the small rubber band that holds up my ponytail, which makes my long blonde hair spread and fall on my shoulders and then down to my back. All along I hummed on the songs from the concert, feeling tired but so so happy with the evening.

I enter the bathroom while unbutton my shorts, easily wiggling out of them. I turn on the water, making it run for a while to be sure the temperature is right before I enter the shower.

I unhook my bra and take off my knickers before I slid into the shower. The heat of the water makes my body shiver.

I wash my hair and body, makes sure I'm all clean and doesn't have any remaining’s’ of the concert smell left. Yeah the smell of concerts is not a very pleasant smell; a mixture of sweat, perfumes, beer, smokes and body heat. Nothing you wanna smell like while going to work the day after.

I step out of the shower, grabbing my robe from the hook next to the shower. I wrap it around me before I begin to dry my damp hair with a towel.

Then I curl up on the couch, flipping trough the channels on my TV. After realizing there is nothing to watch I decide to crawl into bed. I might as well go to sleep anyway; I have to be at work early tomorrow anyway.
