James's POV✖

I had the plan all worked out in my head,

First I would climb in the air shaft and crawl to the room,

I would then help Katrina up and make her stay there,

After that I'm going to make Bradley pay.

Oh yeah and all this would be happening tonight.

After about 2 hours of waiting I decided it was now or never, I had to make a move.

I ran to the air shaft, looked around to see if there was any one looking and began to climb up.

It took me a couple of minutes to reach the room where Katrina was, I could see that she was sleeping. She looked so peaceful, why did he do this to her?

I lifted off the gate and climbed down, careful not to make a sound.

"Katrina"I whispered shaking her a bit

She stirred a bit but didn't wake.

"Katrina"I said a bit louder

She woke up with a fright.

"James, your here"She said flinging her arms around me

"Hey"I smiled"You need to get up in that shaft, do you think you can do that?"

"James you have to go there going to kill you, if they catch you here"She whispered

"They ain't catching me" I said "You need to get up there now"

she nodded

I gave her a leg up, so I could be sure she could reach it.

After she got up I followed her.

"Are you OK?"I asked, touching her face

"Yes, I'm fine"She smiled holding my hand

"I need to go and take care of some unfinished business"I said seriously

"No please just stay with me"Katrina begged

I moved further towards the shaft opening

"Just stay here I'll be fine, will you be OK?"I smiled

She nodded

"Here take my knife"She said

I didn't know she was into that kinda thing but hey, she's my girl.

"I forgot to say something"I smirked

"What?"She said looking puzzled

"I love you too"I said kissing her

I locked Katrina up there, just so she didn't do anything or tried to come after me. I couldn't stop worrying about her, I was more scared about her than I was about Bradley.

I peered into the room that Bradley was in, I waited until his friend had went away. He had his back turned to me, which was a good thing for me, not for him.

"Hello, Bradley"I said slowly

He turned around, I swear you should have seen his face it was priceless.

"What are you doing here?"He shouted

"Oh you know I was just dropping by y'know thought i'd pay you a little visit"I smiled

"Don't tell me your actually trying hurt me"He laughed"Because that's pathetic, but then that suits you doesn't it James?"

I could have ripped his head off right there and then, but good things come to those who wait.

"Your just wasting my time, so I better make this quick"Bradley said

I took out Katrina's pocket knife, I didn't really want to hurt anyone but when it came to him I could make an exception.

He threw a few punches and a few of them actually hit me but I didn't feel a thing, must be to do with adrenaline.

I lunged at him and drove the knife deep into his arm, it instantly started bleeding. He let out a piercing cry.

I drew out the bloody knife from his arm and ran at him, I pushed Bradley hard into the wall, I could see his skull bouncing off the wall.

He was knocked out, I seen his eyes shut and his body weakening.

I was going to get the authorities as soon as we got out. I ran back to Katrina, looking back all the time just to make sure Bradley's friend weren't there.

I climbed back up the air shaft where Katrina lay.

"I'm back"I smiled

"Are you OK?"She said

"Yeah I'm fine how about you?"I whispered

"I'm fine but I need to sleep"She replied"Wait what about Bradley?"

"Well, we need to tell someone about what happened, let's put it like that"I said

Her leg was cut, badly.

We got out of the room and were back in the corridors.

"My leg stings, but I think I can walk"She said

"Yeah, well I'm not taking any chances"I grinned picking her up

She laughed.

I headed for my room, because she left all of her books at mine, and I had a spare bed in my room. So she could sleep here.

"I'm taking you to my room, is that OK?"I asked

"That's perfect"She said smoothly

We finally arrived at my room.

"Do you want to finish what we started?"I whispered

"Your thinking about that now?"Katrina yawned

"No...........OK yeah maybe" I sighed

"Tomorow OK?" She yawned

"I don't think I can wait that long"I moaned

"Then its going to be a long night for you"she laughed

"No, let me re-phrase that, I know I can't wait that long"I said

"Your gonna have to try"She said

I grabbed her by the waist.

"That's not going to make me change my mind"She whispered

"OK, but tomorrow"I laughed

She nodded, and climbed into the spare bed.

Why do you torture me, life?
