Hymn to the wolf

64 5 1

Stealthy and silent are you while stalking your prey,

Your fur blending in with the bramble,

Until your final blow for your food,

With your howl you strike fear into the cowards of the wilderness,

Strong and fierce while in battle,

Striking your enemy down,

Leaving them in the dust while bleeding heavily,

Your fear is nothing,

Your duty to your pack is first of many,

Some call you evil others noble,

A warrior and hunter of both day and night are you,

Strong in faith as you never give up,

Out of all caring you are the most,

Watching pups born with life,

As you care for your family, protective you are,

All wolves look to you for hope,

Knowing you will not let them down,

Your pack is your first priority,

For you are their leader.
