City of Broken Hearts: The Mortal Instruments Fanfiction

"You're so funny" I said to my mundane boyfriend. I kissed him on cheek. As I looked in front of me, I saw my one of my two best friends Shore. Shore was wearing a black leather jacket, a black tank top, black jeans, and black army style boots. "Amelia, can I speak to you in private?" Shore questioned. I nodded and walked away from boyfriend. Once we got into a corner.

I asked "What is it?" annoyed

"There are demons outside the high school, Shaylene is out there already fighting them but, I don't think she can hold them off for much longer."

"Ok lets go to my locker I have to grab some weapons."I said

We ran to my locker and I opened it and grabbing 3 daggers, 1 seraph blade and my dead mother's stele. Your probably thinking 'Your mother's dead OMG!' My mom was slaughtered by demons when I was 10 years old and I never knew my dad. So when my mom died I went to the institute where I met Shore, her mom had died when she was 8 and she also didn't know her dad. One year later I met Shaylene, her mom had died too. So after that we all became best friends. Now we're all 16 and live with Jace, Clary, Isabel, Alec and Josh. Josh is 17 and has no parents with blond hair like Jace except, he has blue eyes. When we walk outside I saw Shaylene stab a demon. I ran to Shaylene grabbing one of my daggers while Shore grabbed her bow and shot arrows from it like a machine gun. I peirced a demon right were a nose should be. Another lunged itself at me, I sliced it in half spraying demon blood. Suddenly I heard a scream! I turned around to see Shaylene bleeding on the ground. Beside her was Shore who was trying to draw a healing rune but, couldn't because demons were surrounding them. Shore yelled at me but it was too late... I never heard her say anything because I was already floating in darkness.

This story is about my friends and I. I am Amelia that is my real name too but, I go as Mia. Hope you like it!!
