Luke POV
Hey I'm Luke. I live in New York like a regular 13 year old boy. Just living a regular life, with regular friends. I have a good life, but sometimes it get pretty shitty. That's where my friends come in.
      I've got friends, but I've got a best friend. She's better then anyone I've ever met. Her name is Emily, but Em for short. Basically everyone calls her Em, and she likes it. I have known her for about a year now. I know that's not a long time but I'm so glad I met her. She makes me laugh when I feel like crying. When I feel sad, she makes me happy again.
Even though she's my best friend, I kinda want to be more than friends. Whenever I see her, I never want to leave. She's amazing, just awesome. I wish I could kiss her. But I need to be quiet about this because she's my best friend. 
    I call her my BAE. My "Before Anyone Else". Sometimes it creeps Emily out, but I just like to say it. I mean she says I'm her BAE, but she means like friends. Ever since I met Em, I wanted her to be mine. I remember this one day, we planned to kiss. But it was a really bad timing because we were on FaceTime. Emily told me, "When I come over to your house I will." She never came, and we never kissed. That tugged on my heart, like a lot. I just wanna kiss her, that's all I ask.
I think I love her...but I'm 13 how do I know what love is. It's like there's a wall between us. A thick wall.
