Luke POV
      It was almost noon and I'm just sitting on the couch watching TV. My phone is next to me and I hear it ring. I look at my phone and my face brightens. It's Emily, yay. The one person that I wanted to hear from all day, and there she is. I answer the phone happily. It connected and on my screen is a smiling blonde girl. "Hey Em," I say. "Hey Luke," she says.
   I had to break my eyes so I couldn't stare into her beautiful blue-green eyes. She had yellow in her eyes too, it looks like the sun. I love her eyes, I've never seen any girl have them. They are so unique, just like Em.
   "So there's a fossil digging thing and I don't wanna be bored, you wanna come with me," asks Em. "Oh ya that sounds cool, let me go ask my mom," I say.
  "Hey mom, can I go hangout with Emily," I ask. "Ya sure, just not do something you'll regret," she says. I rolls my eyes and look back at my phone. "Yes I can go," I say.
    "Yay! Ok see you then bestie," she says with a wink and a smile. I smile back and I hang up. Ugh bestie...why just friends. Why can't she be my girlfriend. That's all I ask. I mean I love to hang out with Em and she always makes me smile. Does she feel the same?
