As I woke up to my pretty pink wallpaper I looked at the time and then back up at my ceiling. I had the perfect life the cutest boyfriend in school and the nicest friends ever. Then I heard my name being called "Ruby!"..."Ruby"..."Ruby" I never get tired of hearing my name but this time it got me annoyed. As I was stomping downstairs in a grumpy fashion I saw my dad flaming mad and my mom crying into her hands. I felt like a bowling ball had hit my stomach I knew what had happened. When I was 13, 3 years ago my grandma had caught a really bad sickness and we were all worried sick. Today I think she left us. All off that i was daydreaming while my mom was talking blah......moving......closer to family. I suddenly snapped our of my dream and in reality I knew this was going to be the worst day ever. My mom said the moving truck was coming on Sunday and in case your wondering it is a Saturday so I called all my friends and my boyfriend and he said he would promise to face time me everyday when I leave. I told him we where leaving California tomorrow and going to South Dakota. As I was packing I heard I knock at my door it was jack, my boyfriend. He sat on my bed I sat next to him and we stared at each other for ever . I started to blush when his eyes wandered over to my lips and my eyes did the same and before you knew it we were kissing. After what seemed like forever my dad came In. luckily jack and I stopped kissing and he was laying on my bed talking to me. I sat on him just for fun. "owwww!" he started complaining like a baby.he sat up and I fell off of him and onto the floor. I looked around my room so plain and boring now everything was in boxes and bags. jack came to lay next to me. I put my head on his chest and started to cry a really good cry.
Jacks POV
I like ruby and all but I think since she is moving we should keep our options open and break up. but I might tell her on the phone or right now but she is so stressed I think I might have to wait till she breaks up with me.
Ruby's POV
"Jack?"
"Yeah"
"Is this the end"
"Of what"
"Us"
" I don't know"
"We should break up" I whispered he muttered something and then I heard it he said "you little shit head" I screamed at him to get out an we had a fight. 20 minutes later my dad walked in and said jack was downstairs crying. I said to him I don't give a crap and for him to leave. I fell asleep frustrated and annoyed I got a message on my phone and it said that jack still loves me no matter what
so early in the morning before we left I ran to jacks arms and he twirled me around I loved it.
