Chapter 1
Vicky’s POV:
"Josh!!!!! Come on please drive me to school' I yelled to him through his bedroom door. It was 7:45 and I needed to get to school early I had to meet up with Mia before class started.
Oh I am so rude I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Victoria Mills but everyone calls me Vicky for short, well not everyone because I am kinda that quiet girl that sits in the corner and minds her own business. Well anyway my brother is Josh Mills he is apparently the hottest and most popular guy in school, well that's what I've overheard from the slutty typical blondes at my school. Yeah and there is thing about us my brother, my family and I are all wolves so yeah. My dad is the Alpha of the Silent Blue pack. So I don’t see myself as pretty or attractive in human but when I am in wolf I love my look with my white fur and my pure blue eyes.
'Ok, ok Vicky I will drive you but you owe me!' he always gives in. After what feels like forever Josh's bedroom door opens and he walks straight past me without saying a word.
He walks down the stairs, to the front door as he opens the door he yells at me "Are you coming or not?’ Geez sometimes my brother can be really difficult to handle and that’s most times.
Once I get out the front door he is already in the car with the music blaring, but I don’t mind because both Josh and I have the same type of music taste. The song he is playing is Swing by Joel Fletcher one of my favourite songs at the moment.
Our school Riverside high school is only a 10 minute drive down the road from our house and during those 10 minutes we have listened to Swing by Joel Fetcher, Clarity by Zedd and Rude by Magic.
'Where have you been?' Mia asks whilst walking to Josh's car I get out and walk off with Mia. 'Where is my thank you Josh, you are the best brother in the world?' yells Josh from the parking lot. 'Thank you Josh you are the best brother and the biggest player in the world!' I turn to see Mia laughing which makes me laugh. 'Vicky that come back was awesome!' says Mia trying to calm down from laughing.
The day goes past like a normal day until lunch, I realised that there is a new guy at Josh's table and he doesn’t look familiar all well I probably just haven't noticed him before. Lunch goes on as usual but the only thing going through my mind is who that guy is sitting with my brother. Yes, he is hot. WOW, Vicky
‘Why are you thinking like this, you aren't that type of girl?’ my wolf said to me inside
'Hey Mia?'
'Yeah?'
'Who is that guy sitting with my brother the one with the tight white shirt on?'
'I don’t know why don’t you ask your brother after school?'
'Good idea, I will do that. Any way that was the bell see you after school'
I couldn’t wait for the end of school firstly I would be able to talk to Mia and secondly I would be able to ask Josh who that guy was. Well the rest of the day went so slowing and trust me it was boring. Well anyway school is over. I say goodbye to Mia and then I can talk to Josh about that guy when I get home.
'Bye Mia see you tomorrow at school'
'Ok Vicky, don’t forget to tell me who that guy is when you find out'
'Will do'
After Mia walks off I walk straight to the school oval and put my bag down. I go and quickly get changed into some exercise clothes. Right, you are probably wondering why I am getting changed and staying after school well because I am shy I don’t really do much sports and I kinda don’t like drawing attention to myself, so anyway I come here after school because I like practicing soccer even if I am not in the team I like doing it. My brother keeps telling me to try out for the school team but I don’t. Because 1, I will get laughed at by the other people at school. 2, I am not good at all. And 3, I am way too shy to do something like that.
Austin's POV:
After the bell had gone for the end of the day, Josh came up to me while I was walking around checking the place out. Josh and I became friends instantly because we pretty much had the same taste in everything.
"Hey Austin where are you heading?" Josh asks
"I was just going to walk around the school to see where things are then I’m gonna go home."
My name is Austin Mitchells I moved here from Toronto because I got expelled from my old school for fighting with some guy that called me a fucking asshole. I know what you must be thinking, it wasn’t even that bad of a name, but I have a very big temper and that's because I am a wolf. My wolf has jet black fur and golden eyes, I also have golden eyes in my human form but my eyes glow in the dark when I turn.
"Ok cool, I'll see you tonight come round whenever you like" Josh is a really good guy, especially for my first day here, he made me feel welcome at the popular table and all the girls are drooling over me, cause I have that effect on chicks.
As I walked through the school I started walking past the oval and there I saw this girl, she was playing soccer and looked like someone I knew but I couldn’t quite guess it. I decide to go closer to have a better look and immediately I smelt vanilla musk. My wolf is going crazy, I took another look at her and one thing I knew for sure was that she was my mate. I took off like a bullet into the woods that our school backs onto and I changed into my jet black wolf. All I needed to was run, I think about when I am running. As I run through the woods, I can't get her out of my head. I guess my dad was right. He has once told me that when I found my mate you can't stop thinking about her until you actually make her your mate. I hadn't realised how long I had been running for until I stopped and looked around. The woods were pitch black, I really should get home. I was home within 10 minutes. Once I walk in the door I grab my bag and head to Josh’s house.
