Jonah Franley, a 16-year-old sophmore with slightly blue-tinted hair and silver eyes, shifted in his sleep.
He was your average teenager, young, angsty, and addicted to the internet. In fact, he was quite popular on plenty of websites due to the fact he was a master of many arts. He specialized in things such as, traditional art, digital art, music of sorts, and writing.
Jonah had an exceptional skill of writing. He wrote mysteries, adventure novels, poems, and his favorite, Horror stories. Now these were also average, being as most of them were considered "creepypasta" and "ghost stories", but plenty of people seemed to like them the most.
Jonah had almost forgotten about the fact he had school that morning when someone slammed his door wide open. Jonah bolted awake as his 14-year-old sister Lillian ran around his bedroom yelling,
"It's time for school! It's time for school! It's time for school!!!!!!"
She skipped in circles, already dressed and back pack on. Jonah yawned in disagreement and lay back down, trying to sleep through his sister's obnoxious excitement.
Lillian Franley was a young blonde, complete with sky blue eyes and freckles. She wore a pastel blue shirt along with suspenders and black slip ons. She continued skipping and yelling until she saw her brother was ignoring her.
"Jooooonaaaaaaaah," She poked him, "It's time for school!!! I'm gonna be a freshman this year! And you have to take me to school!!"
Jonah groaned and covered his head with his pillow.
This caused excessive whining from his sister,
"Joooonaaaah!! You HAVE to get up for schoooooool!" Lillian pulled the blankets from his bed as if she were a magician pulling a table cloth from a table. Yet Jonah was stubborn and stayed asleep.
Then Lillian went to plan b. She grabbed her brother's legs and tugged, trying to pull him off of the bed. Jonah noticed he was moving off to the side so he grabbed the other edge of his bed and held on.
Lillian tugged harder,
"COME ON JONAH STOP BEING A LAZYBUTT IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL!!!"
"I DON'T WANT TO GO TODAY!!"
"WELL YOU HAVE TO MOM SAID SO!!!"
"LET ME SLEEP FOR FIVE MORE MINUTES!!"
Suddenly there was a crash.Downstairs, the parents of the two kids sighed.
"A whole more school year of this," their mother, Hanna Franley, said disgracefully. Hannah Franley was a lunch lady at Jonah's highschool, and so the two of them would always go early so Jonah could get breakfast and she could get things ready for the day.
"Well at least you have both of them now," replied Hannah's husband, Henry.
Henry was reffering to how he had to homeschool the kids until they got into highschool. Now since they were both in highschool, he could finally take a break and maybe find a job of his own.Another crash.
Hannah put down her cup of coffee,
"KIDS!! COME DOWN! YOU BETTER BE DRESSED!!"
At first there was silence, then the sound of thumping down the stairs.
Lillian came down first, brushing her suddenly messy hair,
"Jonah was being lazy again," she said as her brother came down the steps and ready to go. He rubbed his cheek,
"Lilly punched me in the face again," Jonah frowned. Lillian stuck her tongue out at him in return. Hannah rubbed her eyes,
"Brush your teeth?"
"Yes."
"Do you have everything you need for school?"
"Yes."
"Alright, get in the car." Hannah nodded her head toward the door while grabbing her wallet. The kids hurried along, racing almost to get into their mother's car.
"See you later, hon" Hannah said before kissing her husband goodbye.
"Bye," he went back to reading his news paper.
Hannah stepped through the door and locked it behind her.
