I made my way to the cafeteria, where I met up with Kaylee.

"Hey Kales, have you seen Mari?" She looked up at me, putting down her burger. That girl sure could eat...

"Hey Oils!" She exclaimed, her voice muffled by bob knows what. "And I'm not quite sure, come sit. You look down." I nodded, sitting. I never noticed where Kaylee and Marianne sat.

"Is this the cool kids table?" I asked her looking around. They sat at the popular table?

"Uh, 'cool kids'?" she asked using quotation marks. I nodded.

"Popular kids...?" I explained.

"Oh. I guess?" she said giving up on the conversation.

"So...how was your date with Austin?" I asked her awkwardly.

"Terrible," she bit her lip. "Can I tell you something?" I nodded encouraging her.

"I have a slight crush on..." she closed her eyes. "Someone..." I rolled my eyes internally. "And I was wondering if they liked me back." and then it clicked.

"Y...you like me?" I asked her surprised. She blushed deeply. I stared at her a moment and she turned her attention away from my eyes. I guess she's kind of cute... I thought to myself.

"Are you mad?" She asked quietly.

"No?" I smirked, "It's what comes natural to you."

"Shut-up," she said. "Can we forget this happened?"

"Why?" I asked honestly.

"i don't know, I mean i doubt anything will happen. She bit her lip. She suddenly pushed her tray away.

"I'm not really hungry anymore. She abruptly stood up and walked towards the same door I came in. I smiled in her direction. She actually was kinda cute. Funny how you don't really notice stuff like that.

I got up and went to The secret corner Ty told me to meet him at. He called it 'Corner O' Shame'

"Ty," I said once i approached him.

"Sh! It's mother hen until the coast is clear." He scolded me. I rolled my eyes.

"She isn't here, fat head. Now, Ty. Who's more fit for a relationship? Kaylee or...you know who?" I asked him. I wasn't sure if you know who.... really liked me or not. I think Kaylee would be a nice girlfriend honestly.

"ITS MOTHER HEN!" he yelled.  "And I dunno. Kaylee and 'you know who' which I don't, aren't my type. Don't ask a guy who's broken hearted about relationships, Oli. That's not cool." he said pouting. I stared at him disgustedly.

"Don't pout," I said and began to walk away.

"WAIT! BABY HEN! GET OVER HERE!" He whisper shouted.

"What?" I asked him turning around. Why did I have to get a code name? It's not like I confessed my love for an obviously not interested girl.

"BABY HEN, WHAT DID 'YOU KNOW WHO' SAY ABOUT 'YOU KNOW WHAT'?!" He asked, continuing to whisper shout.

"Uh, I dont remember.." I lied turning around.

"Fish sticks," I heard him say. "BYE BABY HEN!"

"Bye Ty," I mumbled.

"MOTHER HENN!!!!"
