I got up and went downstairs. Jason and Marlene where at the park playing basketball. I went around the house looking for my Aunt. I finally found her outside in the back watering her flowers. "Aunt Jenna I'm going to be out with Harry today. Okay?" "Sure Mel. It's your summer vacation. Go ahead have fun!" I grabbed my phone and left for Café Mania on my BMX Bike.
I locked up my bike right outside the cafe and walked in to find Harry already sitting right in the middle of the café. "Hey Bois wazzzzzapp!" "Hey Chiquita!" He stood up to hug me. "I'm going to get a water bottle do you want anything?" "I'll take the same." As he got up I took a glance around to find a blonde girl, sitting with a two other girls, giving me an evil stare. I immediately turned away. It's not the first time those chic looking girls have had disgust in me for dressing like a tomboy. Honestly I hate it myself at this point but it's the way my parents wanted me to dress. I had never asked what were their motives. Jason and Marlene got to dress how ever their hearts desired. Harry returned and passed me my bottle. "Hey so I was thinking how about we pull an all nighter at my house" I asked "sure. C'mon let's go!" He grabbed my arm and pulled me out of my seat. We unlocked our bikes and rode off to my house racing eachother.
I unlocked the front door and headed into the kitchen while Harry made himself comfortable in his favorite spot on the couch. I found a note on the counter from Aunt Jenna saying she went out. I grabbed two apples from the fridge. I tossed one at Harry as I made my way to the couch. "Want to play RACING ADVENTURES?" "You are so gonna loose!" "You are so on!" We played for RACING ADVENTURES for two hours until Harry got tired of loosing so much. "Mel can the first movie we watch FINDING NEMO?" He asked. "Sure. Only cause you epically lost." During the end of FINDING NEMO Marlene burst in through the door and immediately closed and locked it. "Um where is Jason?" "I took his keys and left him behind" Marlene said laughing. A few minutes later Jason came pounding on the door. Marlene pulled open the curtains and stuck her tongue out at Jason. Which only mad him pound on the door even harder and louder so I got up and unlocked the door before he broke it down. Once all that was over we all sat down to watch movies. During the middle of the second movie my curiosity got a hold do me. "I have a question?" I asked "About the movie?" Responded Harry. "No and I don't think this is a question for you Harry. Marlene? Jason?" "What is it?" Asked Marlene. "How come Mum and Dad wanted me to always dress a certain way?" "Well kiddo none of us know the answer to that but that doesn't mean you can't dress however you want now." Said Jason. "Yea. I guess but wouldn't that be like betrayal or something?" "No they would have wanted you to eventually be happy and done what you wanted to do." Harry responded. "So you guys think it would be okay if I changed my wardrobe?" "I think it would be amazing." Marlene said as she got up to go to the kitchen.we continued watching movies all night and eventually fell asleep on top of one another.
