Melanie was walking through the stone streets, her white converse seeming to glow under the street lamps. Her blue hair cascading down her back, she took out the bun that was so tightly up. Her bright green eyes glinting in the night sky. If it wasn't so dark outside, you could see a spray of freckles across her nose and cheeks, as if somebody took a dark brown marker and dotted her face. Her black t-shirt and black ripped jeans weren't enough to fight the cold. But she lost her jacket at the party. And Melanie would not take one more step closer to that place. No matter how many times he pleaded with her to stay, his brown eyes told Melanie that he didn't mean a word coming out of his mouth. Unless he genuinely wanted her company, he didn't show any signs of it. The way he treated her was too much. And that was the last straw. "Goodbye, Corey," Melanie said as she tore a picture of him to shreds. "Goodbye."
