how it all started...

IT would probably be best to begin at the beginning. Yet there never really was a beginning. Jax and Avery met over a series of weeks, of years, their lives were intertwined within Charming, California, but they didn't first meet until her seventeenth birthday.

Her father Henry Carter helped manage the Teller-Morrow Automotive Repair, and so, she grew up with an wretch [and later on,] a blowtorch in her hands. Henry spent every moment outside of the club building and fixing cars from the ground up, and Avery followed in his footsteps in that sense. Handling cars and bikes was in her nature.

The club life, however, was not.

She had no part, no idea, of it. She was naive, she was young, but his father made damn sure that his family wasn't ever involved in the gun trading business. Yet, that all changed the day Avery came down to TM, asking Gemma for a job.

She never understood why Henry was so adamant about keeping her distance from the clubhouse until years later. [Yet then it was already too late.]

Avery impressed Gemma nonetheless and earned her place. Despite Henry's rage, she remained, and she flourished.

And that was when the day met the night, when Avery and Jax met.

From a glance, she recognized him for they had always went to school together, yet she didn't know him. Charming High wasn't big, yet they both occupied their separate corners.

Then, their corners were no longer separated but shared. They bonded over a love of cars and bikes and teenage angst. You could say it was as simple as that, but that was no where close.

They loved each other; they would die for each other. Over the four years they came to know everything about each other over late nights on top of TM 's roof.

Their life was in no way simple, yet when it just came down to him and her, it felt so easy. So comfortable and exhilarating at the same time, and so full of love and life.

Yet when the final storm rolled in, it all ended. Nothing was same, no one was the same after. All that was left was a woman with a pen and bleeding heart.
