As the days went by, Jill soften up to me. Well not completely.
"So why again will you not just tell me what the place is called?" I asked while in the lunch line.
"Angel, I'm telling you, you don't want to know. And I'd rather not tell you right now. Ok?" Jill said as the lunch lady pored some kind of watery soup into her bowl.
"Fine." I said walking back to are regular seats to see someone seating there.
"Who is that?" Jill said. Walking straight up to him. I followed slowly not knowing what was gonna happen.
"Excuse me?" Jill tapped on the boys shoulder. As soon as he turned around, my stomach turned into a field of butterflies. His eyes, blue in sun light coming from the small windows. His hair was dark and shiny.
"Yes?" His deep voice cracked as his gaze met mine.
"This is our seat. So you need to either move your tiny little butt over or get a new seat!" Jill's voice seemed to get louder.
"Um, yes. Sorry." He said scooting down. There was only two small seats left, after the boy had moved down. I sat next to a girl, so I wouldn't have to seat next the the mystery guy.
"What are you doing?" Jill looked down on me.
"Sitting?" I said to my food.
"I'm not sitting next to-" she pointed at the guy as he lifted his head, "to-o that!" She said. I didn't feel like auguring to I scooted down. The guys plate had a baked potoas on it. Before I could stop myself, I spoke up.
"How did you get potoas?" His eyes looked up.
"I'm special." He said with a smilie, but not looking up from his food.
I looked down at my food. After a few mintuines I feel his eyes on me.
'What?" Insteaad of looking away he stares at me harder.
"Your eyes, there beautiful." My face gets hot, and I know it red.
"There just brown. How could they be pretty?
"Well, first your eyes tell a person who you are. Secound, there hazel, not brown.' Finally he looks away.
"Well, whats your name?', I ask.
"We'll whats yours?"
"I asked you first." That smilie appeared on his face again. That breath taking smilie. He toke a deep breath, then answered.
"My nick name is, Lax." Lax.
" I like that" I smiled at him. "Mine is Angel.' I stutter to get the last words out. The bell rings for us to go, I wave goodbye and don't say anything as I walk away.
