Curious.

First day..

"Lauren!" Her mum shouted for what felt like the 100th time, "WHAT MUM?!" Lauren shouted half asleep, her mum walks in her room a little too chirpy "get up it's your first day" she said then walked out as Lauren then sighed. She hated starting new schools it's awkward and scary with new people and a place to try get around plus being the new girl isn't really the best either. After around a hour Lauren had showered, dressed, makeup done and her hair. Lauren runs down the stairs picking up her bag "mum I'm ready to leave!" Her mum runs down the hall and leads Lauren out to the car. It takes 20 minutes from the house to the school, that whole 20 minutes Lauren's mum kept reassuring her about her first day but this made Lauren more and more anxious. She finally pulls up outside of New mills high school "you will do great sweetie" Lauren's mum says before Lauren hops out of the car.

Lauren enter the halls filled with teenagers and try's to walk through them without bumping into anyone. She eventually makes it to the office where she sees another girl sitting waiting on something or someone, "hello I'm here to see the principle" Lauren said to the woman behind the desk "name please?" "Lauren Stewart" Lauren said sort of smiling, "Lauren! Welcome!" Principle Lahey exclaims "hey principle Lahey" Lauren said nervous, you see what people don't know is that principle Lahey is actually Lauren's uncle but they keep it on the DL. "Lauren I want you to meet Mia, Mia Lauren, lauren Mia will be showing you the school and where your locker is" principle Lahey says smiling. Mia stood up from her chair "hey!" Mia said very chirpy and Lauren gave her uncle weird look and then smiled at her  "shall we go?" Mia said leading Lauren out the door and as they walk out Lauren mouths to her uncle 'help me!'.

"So new girl?" Mia says walking Lauren to her locker "yep that's me.. the new girl" Lauren said not as happy as Mia was "it doesn't last long, I was the new girl a few months ago" she said as they reached Lauren's locker "you were? Have you made friends?" Lauren said trying to put in her locker code "yeah I was and yeah but I wouldn't tell them my deepest secrets" Mia said as Lauren put books in her locker "I know what you mean I hope I make friends" Lauren said giggling nervously "well count me as your first" Mia smiled and she led her round the school.
