Anna wandered outside the castle, taking in Arendelle's crisp mountain air. Her gown, which hung loosely from her shoulders, ended in an ethereal green cloud. She walked quickly, and with purpose. Though her hair, which sat loosely atop her head, suggested innocence, tonight would be anything but.
She rounded the corner, eyes downcast. She didn't need to look up to know that Hans was already there. His stately presence was enough.
"Anna." He bowed deeply, but a dismayed look from the gentle princess sent them both into a fit of laughter.
"Let's tour the castle, Hans. Elsa will never find us." Her voice was light and playful, her posture suggestive.
They hurried through the massive oak doors, and twisted through a crowd of gossiping foreigners. Most were decked in gold, from the buckles on their boots to the cuffs on their sleeves. They were so involved in their own affairs, in fact, that Anna and Hans could've ridden a horse across the room without attracting a second glance.
They reached the stairs in seconds, and already Anna's breaths were hastening. Hans swept her off her feet, quite literally, and treated her as royalty until the reached the top floor's very first bedroom.
The doors closed behind them. Anna moved backward as Hans pressed forth. Their noses touched, lightly, though their lips did not yet meet. She was tempting him, daring him to make the next move. Their silhouettes were almost one before the raging hearth.
She felt her back press against the bed, and she was forced to stop. He had achieved his goal. His hands moved up her sides, mapping her figure as if she were a manikin and he a skilled tailor. Their lips touched, though the moment was fleeting.
He slid the straps down the slopes of her shoulders and lifted her up, onto the bed. He was atop her in an instant, and together they freed the dress from her slender body. She was bare, vulnerable. Her lips quivered as he undid her hair, and he watched her eyes as they flickered to his.
Suddenly, a voice bounced down the hallway, interrupting the moment in its entirety.
"Elsa, come downstairs! You'll miss the coronation!"
