When Two Worlds Collide (Hiro Hamada x Modern!Moana)

Moana and Hiro were walking around by the beach after dinner laughing at the recent happenings.

"Dude, when Maui sneezed and the banana salad came out through his nose."

Moana laughed hard. "And don't forget when Pua farted on my lap."

The two laughed and looked at the view. They sat down on the sand and lied down together.

"View's really pretty, huh? When I was younger I always walked down here with my grandma and we would talk about our ancestors and how they found this place. She always inspired me to be like them. I miss her so much" Moana said looking at the bright moon and the ocean. It always reminded her of Grandma Tala and that she would always be there for her.

"Aw, I'm sorry. She sounded like an amazing person" Hiro said doing the same thing.

"She really was. Do you have anyone in your family that you miss?"

"Actually, yes. Tadashi and I are orphans. Our parents got a divorce and died in a car crash ten years ago."

"What always reminds you of them?"

"Cherry blossoms were my mom's favorite and everyday after school I put a cherry blossom by her grave and talk to her. I also do the same with my dad. He was a nurse and Tadashi is in robotics class at school to build this sort of robot that's also a nurse. Helping others reminds me of my dad and both me and Tadashi wanna do that."

"Seems like you really miss them, huh?"

"Yeah. Well, I'm happy I have friends like you. You're a really pret- uh. Great friend and listener." Hiro blushes of embarrassment, almost calling her pretty. He wanted to call her pretty, but almost didn't have the guts.

Moana laid her head on his shoulder and he put his arm around her slowly.

"Hiro, can I be honest with you?"

"Yeah, what's up?"

"You know, after dinner when I got to learn more about you, I've started to kind of.. Like you. D-do you feel the same way?"

Hiro blushed deeper. "Actually. I do."

"Really? You mean that?"

He grabbed Moana's cheeks. "Of course I do. You're beautiful, you're close to your family, you saved your people from dying, and you're passionate about what you love and would do anything to live the life you've always wanted to. Who wouldn't like that?"

Moana blushed as deep as Hiro and looked into his eyes. "You're smart, you're funny, you're selfless, you saved your city from a mad man, and you're really cute. No wonder you have a lot of friends."

"None of them are amazing as you, Moana."

They held each other's hands and went in for a kiss. A short, but powerful kiss.

"I'm in love with you, Moana. Will you be my girlfriend?"

Moana kissed his cheek and smiles as she snuggled in to him. "Yes. I will."
