This is a One-Shot, it's a RobStar, but hints at bit of Starfire&Red-X. Please enjoy and comment. Thank you so much for reading. I truly appreciate it! :3

"Funny, we still haven't managed to go out on a date. If you ever get tired of playing superhero, let me know."

The comment brought my attention upon the Red-X.

We had been chasing the Red-X throughout the night, but our attempts to locate him had grown quite slim.

"I think not!" I shouted towards him.

With ease, and somewhat grace, the Red-X threw himself towards me.

I pulled both of my hands in front of me, an attempt at stopping him, but I was too late.

His black glove pressed against my mouth and his body pressed against mine, pushing me towards the cement wall behind me.

I hit the wall first, followed by my attacker. I raked my gaze over him. I could feel the heat of his gaze upon my face.

"Don't be shy, I don't bite." He whispered, his warmth falling upon my skin.

            "Get off of her!"

The voice of Robin granted me much relief.

Masking the same ease as the Red-X, Robin flew through the air, while pouncing upon the Red-X.

I pushed myself off the wall and rested a hand upon the back of my head. I quickly glanced at Robin just as the Red-X slammed a fist towards him.

"What's wrong kid, afraid of a little competition?"

Robin gave a smirk, "as far as I'm concerned, there is no completion between you and I."

"Hmph, didn't seem that way a few seconds ago."

Robin's eyes widened and he threw a kick towards his attacker.

I channeled my new coming rage throughout my body. I pulled my hands in front of me once more as they lit to life. I took to the air as I fired various starbolts towards the Red-X, careful to avoid Robin. He dodged them successfully, but Robin's fist did not miss.

The Red-X fell, but did not hesitate upon getting back up.

Robin threw one last kick at the Red-X before the menace tapped the 'x' upon his chest and disappeared within thin air.

The nights we are unsuccessful in our captures also share the nights in which Robin grows restless.

We all stood in the Main Ops room waiting in silence. Perhaps waiting to be summoned away by Robin, or given our next orders.

I could not seem to tear my eyes from our leader. He stood motionless, hands gripping the counter of the kitchen tightly. I could imagine his knuckles paling against the gray marble beneath his gloves.

I wished to reach out for him, both physically and emotionally. I believe we all did.

"Tomorrow we'll scout the town for any traces on Red-X's whereabouts, until then rest up team."
