Chapter 1 *-*

It was dark, rainy, I was soaking. But I couldn't resist watching her from across the street. She was weigtless angel floating on air perfecting everything she touched. She ran using a newspaper as cover as she ran to the car... 'No matter what she does she puts such beauty into it' I thought to myself. I hopped on my bike -a hand-me-down from my older brother Ronaldo, it's a 6 gear in good shape, a little rust here and there but rides smooth- I knew if I got a head start I would be able to keep pace with her.

She took her usual route from 7th to 14th it's not a long ride, but on a bike it feels like it takes forever... I've gotten used to it though. When we get a block from her her house I start to walk so I can't be seen but I can see. I don't see it's stalking, more as making sure she gets home safely. Once she gets home I decide to check my phone, it's 5:26 p.m. I could get a bite to eat before heading over to my house... I check my wallet I have $4.38.

I swung by the gas station got a $.49 donut and a slushy for $1.50. I went to the arcade for a quick game... As usual the douche kid Greg - you know that one 8 year old douchey kid who sits there non-stop playing until he's out of money, which he always brings tons of because he's a rich daddy's boy... Anyways he was there I pulled up a stool from the employee counter that George, and Mary always let me take. At around 5:56 p.m. The snot nosed punk Greg finally runs out of money... He didn't even make it to the top 10, newb lol.

So I finally get up, my legs are numb and I'm prepared to beat my score... I have 2 quarters -as usual one in case I die mid game and one to start the game- I quickly beat levels 1-14 then the first boss comes at level 15- It's a tall brooding Orc with 250 HP each of his hits do 20 damage, and I have 100 HP. The first precaution I take to make sure to stay alive is to unlock the hidden chicken in the walls... Yes there's chicken in the walls of this game... I get them and I avoid them as I use my sword and shield to attack and defend, while also jumping around him to avoid a blow from his club. I soon get him down to 126 HP while I'm at 45, I quickly run and eat a chicken, it adds 40 HP over 4 seconds. I soon get almost health... I get 2 hits of before I have to move to the other side... This goes on for at least 2 minutes until I finally finish him... I gain a level, new armor, better weapons, and gold to spend on skills. I have 10,550 points by 6:15 p.m. I know the #1 score held by me 'ZED' is 500,000. So I stay for a while longer soon I reach level 30 which of course is another boss fight.

A big red dragon that flies around which makes it impossible to hit him with melee weapons, so you must uses bow and arrow. Which of course is hidden in a randomly located pit, and there's a 50/50 chance that it's a death trap which would require you to be at level 45 to beat them, but I know the patterns that the programmer used to "randomly generate" the bow and arrow as usual it was in the second hole... 6/10 times it is. I quickly take out the dragons wings... He's taken half my health which is now 125 HP... I quickly switch to my shield as the dragon descends so I don't get burnt by his fire ball move- which is when he sets himself in fire and rolls into a ball and descends hitting everything- I take another 40 damage and finally get a critical hit off that takes 50 HP from my opponent which in turn gives me a knock back of 10 HP... I soon regened health and was able to take down the dragon. Then I would go up a staircase of a tower and save the princess... At the end of the game I had 555,000 points.... I entered my name 'ZED' and left.

It was 6:34 when I finally left the arcade. I head home, it's 6:56 when get there. I put take my bike in the garage and I use the basement door to avoid my mom... I get in, finish my homework. By the time I'm down it's 7:32 almost time for dinner, I play a quick game on my iPad, check my twitter and Facebook... Apparently I have a friend request from someone named "Savannah Briggs", I don't know her but I accept it anyways. I can smell chicken from upstairs! I ran as quickly as I can and lay down 2 plates, and 2 sets of utensils -Only 2 seeing as my dad is probably still working. My mom serves us and we eat in silence except for the fan blowing away the smoke, and our radio as we listen to a talk radio station... Normally we would be eating downstairs but for some reason my mom hasn't let me eat down there in at least a few weeks... I finish my dinner at around 7:50, I go downstairs go in my room while she's watching TV and I watch youtube on my iPad for about an hour... Then I got in the shower at 9:14.

I got my hair wet, lathered, rinsed, and then scrubbed my body clean with Irish Spring and a loofa. As I dry myself off and put on lotion i listen to the radio. I check my phone, 9:27, "4 new messeges" Jonathan. Jonathan. Jonathan. Jonathon.

"Hez bro hows it going?" Jonathan has had a flip phone two years more than I have, yet I'm more profecient at texting on a flip phone than him. Next.

"Bro? Why arent you text back?" two minutes later "No dont tell me youre akctually following Heather"

"Armando you nub answer"

"I was in the shower, what's up?" I respond

"for 4 and a half hours"

"Yup, I'm extremely pruney"

"seriously following Heather man thats just weird"

"Well normal is over rated"

"anyway Chandler is haveing a kewl party this saturday"

"Sorry, I have a very imporntant stalking appointment planned on Saturday"

"BRO, THIS IS NOT HEALTH SHE ISNT WORTHE IT!"

"JK, and yes she is. She's gorgeous, and brilliant, witty, friendly, shy, cut, and just amazing, I mean amazing. Anyways what time is the party?"

"Stop obessing! and starts at 9"

"It's hard to stop obsessing, I can make it, should i bring nachos?"

"Whatever just promise you wont waste a ton of time on this girl"

9:57, getting ready for bed would be smart and logical... two things I totally am. I delay brushing my teeth to catch up on my favorite youtubers.
