Sweet Death

Chapter 2

She turned to us and said "They have Esa, she's back to the land of the living." And with that she disappeared into the floor.

CC'S POV

We all stood there, some with tears in their eyes some balling out rivers of the liquid, and some just staring, awe - shocked. Suddenly Tes started screaming and crying "WE HAVE TO GET HER BACK!!! WE HAVE TO WE HAVE TO We have to..." She got softer as she was running low on tears, and her voice was starting to get a little hoarse. Crys stood there looking down, her hair covering her eyes. She then spoke her voice barely above a whisper "this....this was my fault. if i didn't force her to come she would still be here with us." Caiden then spoke "HEY! Stop talking like that..  You couldn't have known that this was going to happen its not your -" but she was cut off by a huge hug I turned at saw that Crys the one who doesn't particularly enjoy hugs was giving one. Everyone was staring wide-eyed at Caiden, and accepted the hug. Soon all of us were having a huge bear hug that sank down to the floor. We decided to look at the portal the the human world, it was more of a mirror but whatever no one really cares. Last time we checked was 5 years ago, the world was a huge mess. There was dust and ash everywhere, buildings gone flaming rock piles scattered about. There was nothing. Until we saw them. There they were just sitting next to to Esa and the other girl, like nothing ever happened and everything was fine. Except the fact that the 2 girls were unconscious and tied to chairs. The reason we're not surprised by the presence of these people, is because they used to be our friends, that is until they got kicked out of the spirit world, and back to the human world. Left to rot. Everyone thought the were dead and went under, not up. But all this time the were fine and with the 2 girls. I looked over and saw Tess crying silently, her boyfriend had his arms around her. Pulling her into his embrace. Madi was stood there, straight face. Everyone knew this pose and realized that she was exploding in side her head, you could see the emotions in her eyes, though not displayed on her face they were still clearly there. Crys  was looking down so her bangs were covering most of her face.

TESS'S POV

Remember how CC told you this was a portal, well me and Crys shared a silent agreement and walked up to it centimeters away. We held each others hands, looked at each other and jumped. Straight into the fiery mass nah used to be our world. Nobody saw it coming, and once we were through this thing, we couldn't of back the way we came. That exact moment is basically when we gave up our freedom. Our hopes. Our wishes. Our life. Our friends. Then we saw them our friends, one tied to a chair, the other two betraying us all. Crys and I started crying at the thought of our once friendship with the two spirits banished from their home. We couldn't bare the thought, so we stopped thinking of it. We heard a loud thud behind us to see everyone standing there. Which made me giggle a little because CC fell on top of Madi which made her really disoriented. It was a sight to see. The power duo hadn't seemed to notice us yet, which was a shock taking into the count that our friend's landing was less then a little graceful. We walked up and Caiden screamed at them "GIVE US ESA BACK!!! YOU HAD NO REASON TO TAKE HER!!! SHE DID NOTHING TO YOU! IF ANYONE GOT YOU TWO KICKED OUT IT WAS ME!!!"
