My name is Hank Seals. Detective Seals. I investigate weird mysteries, strange sightings, etc. Over the past several years I've encountered some intriguing things like weird deaths, interesting homicides, and others. I You love what I do.
I was driving down on a nice ocean road looking at the scenery when I was interrupted by a phone call. It had my bosses name on it. So I knew it had to be important. I picked it up, and answered it:
Phone call conversation:
Boss: Hey, are you interested in a new mystery?
Me: sure! What's it about?
Boss: well, someone called from a house, saying that their next door neighbor is acting weird.
Me: what kind of weird, how?
Boss: Well, I didn't get information, but the guy said that his neighbor was acting really weird and suspicious.
Me: Mmmmmmm, sounds interesting. Where is it?
Boss: 2306 Alberney st
Me: ok, I'll be there in a few hours.
Boss: ok, I'll call back the guy and let him know.
Me: ok, bye.
Boss: Bye.
End of phone call
Well, this should be interesting. Either the guy is just crazy or he has a disorder. Let's find out.
Just arriving at the house. It's 3 in the afternoon. The house that the guy called from, it looks good, and not decrepit. I looked left and I assumed that the house that this guy was talking about. It looks somewhat decrepit. The grass is a little overgrown, but not to the point where it looks like a jungle house. The house is currently painted dark blue, but the paint is starting to peel off in some spots. The house doesn't really look that stable. The walls and roof are slowly cracking. There's one car in the driveway. It looks like a broken down car, it still looks somewhat drivable. There's a wheel missing, but it's held up with a lift kit. The hood is popped open but closed. The back right tire looks like it has had enough, and a little deflated. And it's close to the same color as the house, but just small bit lighter. There was about 24 feet in between both houses.
As I walked up to the house it felt a bit creepy, weird and something else, but I just couldn't put finger on it. Anyways, I walked up to the door, it had a doorbell on it, which was good. So I rang it, and I heard stumping. Then the next thing I knew, the door opened!
"Hello!" I said. "Umm, you wanted me to visit." "Oh, the guy gasps, OH YEAH! The phone call!" Umm, yo...you can come in." "Thanks," I said. The guy seemed nervous for some reason. We sat down, on his couch. I'm opposite from him. "Umm... I didn't... catch... your name." The guy said. "Oh sorry about that," I said. "It's okay", the guy said. "My name is Detective Hank Seals, but you can call me Mr. Seals", I said. "And yours?" "Oh my name is Marvin," he said. So you described your neighbor as "crazy and suspicious" you said? "Yeah because, when he walks around he's looking everywhere like he doesn't want to be spotted." He said. I was pondering curiously. "Does he do it at only certain times of each day, or just randomly?" I asked. I could tell he was pondering. "I wanna say it's both," he said. I could tell he wasn't sure. "Have you ever gone over there and asked him like what's going on?" I said. "Well every now and then I see the fire department over there, but I don't call them!" He said. He was very anxious to say that last part like he didn't want to be accused of anything. I wanted to make him feel comfortable so that he could tell me everything. It was almost 4 o'clock now. "Can I possibly stay the night so I can observe him?" I asked. He thought about it for a few seconds, but then he said sure.
It was about an hour later, and dinner was about ready. He was cooking a juicy, tender, thick steak. And long crispy fries. I was looking out the window at the neighbor's house, and I could smell the steak from the window. I couldn't wait to have some of it.
About 10 minutes later, the dinner was ready. He was just getting the utensils and napkins. When we finally sat down, he put a big fat steak in front of me. As he sat it down on the plate, it was dripping with saturation. The steak was about 3.5 inches long, and just under 1 inch thick. I put the fork and knife into it, and I could see all the juice seeping and spewing out. As I took my first bite, it felt like heaven, all the juice filled up my mouth.
As I finished the first piece, I opened my eyes and hooolyyy crap. My eyes were amazed. There was so much more food like; chips, bacon, chicken and rice, baked beans, biscuits and gravy, sausages and other healthy stuff like; watermelon, cantaloupe, and other things. There was also one thing that caught my eyes, biscuits, and gravy. It was saturated with gravy, it was one of the things I loved, it looked so good.
After about 30 minutes later, the dinner was just about done. I was so darn full.
Then after that, we cleaned up. We went to go sit down on his couch. "Do you wanna see some video recording that I have of him?" he asked. I said "sure!" To me, that was kind of weird that he has video recordings of his neighbor. But I guess it's evidence. His TV wasn't bad; it was a small one, but not bad. "Do you wanna see something?" he asked. I said "sure!" He pulled out a book from the bookshelf, and the wall that the TV was on, turned around, and on the other side was a big flat screen TV.
He had a 69" tv. He turned it on and a sidebar on the right appeared. It had cameras numbering from 1-6. Some were named such as; weird sightings, outside activity, firefighters showing up, and others that he said were not important, just like family stuff. He selected "all cameras." I saw that some cameras positioned to where they could look into his house. And one camera looked like that it was in his basement. He clicked on "firefighters showing up". On the next page, some thumbnails showed firefighters putting out numerous fires, which is not unexpected. There were some other videos that showed that the basement was on fire. I don't know how much of the basement was on fire though.
He went back one page and clicked on "outside activity". Some of the videos show the guy in his backyard, but it's a bit hard to see, because of the weeds, fences and trees. But what he is doing is still sorta hard to see. The guy has tables, boxes, gallon jugs, cords, wires, and some sort of generator. Marvin said that he believes it is a silent generator. I asked, "how long did it take him to put up these cameras, and his long have they been up?" He said, "it took him one day to put them up, and they have been up for a few weeks now." I asked, "how did it take one day?" He said, " he was on a trip." "Did you think that anyone would get suspicious of you doing this", I asked. And he just came out with a plain answer, "no".
Then he went to the last folder named "weird sightings". Right before he clicked on it he said that it took place in his backyard, sometimes in his basement, but mostly in backyard. Before he clicked on it he gave me a warning. He said, "I did not make any of this up especially this creature". Right when he said creature I was shocked and intrigued. I didn't know what to think. Right when he clicked on it, I saw like a red gushy creature. I didn't even know what to say, it looked sort of looked like CGI, but he said it wasn't. I was definitely shocked and intrigued.
