It all feeds the same anyhow: SFX Props? VFX CGI? GenAI? At some point, barely anyone would bother differentiating. The consequences overall lies in rumor and superstition with a scientific flavor. Getting ahead of the curb by acting on suggestions/hypotheses as mandates; could such gamble be afforded over and over? Doesn't gambling lead to a net loss on average? By the end of it, organic's the minority, as against automation, so will be humanity. Writing on itself as a form of sincere expression, like this, is a type of clownery. A doomed hobby, mutually outmoded as reading. Doomscrolling would've been a better use of time on my end. "Fast fashion" form of writing has always been the point for the mainstream. Writing's streamlined for a long while now. LLM-AI is that final step to maximize the output. Really, is it bad? Its a self-sufficient haven: Why complain over getting more of what one wants, like the want of reading? Quality in art is in the mercy of subjectivity. Not good enough? Want improvement?: Improvement is the expertise of ai. It's only natural. What can be done? I don't know: spiting against a tsunami will not prevent it from coming and washing everything away that's good. And sometimes it takes even the bad amongst the wreck. I'm here; Luddite. Inept. A remastered version of The Promised Land, a short story I wrote a few years ago. There is, ultimately, no lesson or theme to this story. I myself haven't figured out the ultimate interpretation. This is a story about a young girl trying to claim her name.

Melody is a young girl who is trying to provide for her family by hunting rabbits in the woods. One night Melody dares to enter into the deepest parts of the woods; an area where her mother had warned her never to venture to. But with darkness quickly approaching and devouring the icy grey sky Melody knows her battle against time is drawing closer. As she chases the rabbit deeper into the ever-growing woods her limbs soon begin to ache and Melody eventually gives up on all hope of ever catching the source of food she desires and needs the most. Frightened at disappointing and shaming her family Melody decides to not return home and sleep in the woods for the night and return in the morning with whatever prey she can find. As the icy rain begins to fall, each droplet increasing in size compared to the last, Melody stumbles upon an embankment with eerie log cabin sat isolated and alone. The warmth and security that the log cabin provides begins to lure Melody into a subtle dangerous trap. Famished and cold, Melody does not see the harm in inhabiting the log cabin for the night. If only Melody knew what dangers lurk within the cabin… Then maybe she would have changed her mind on staying the night.
