Ambushed (Book two)-(On Hold)

Chapter Nine

   Bulkhead gritted his dental plates in anger and pain. Boulder had recovered quickly, yet the wrecker wasn't.

"She took Miko!" He growled and weakly pushed himself up. Boulder quickly ran over trying to support the mech.

"We will find her and Cody," He reassured and let go once the other caught his balance.

"Can you still drive?" He asked and the other nodded. He took a quick glimpse at the darkened sky.

The pair transformed and started driving down for what they could. Bulkhead's Energon level felt depleted, needing his rest and medical attention.

His wheels slowed down and soon stopped a few feet away from the bulldozer. He transformed and learned against a cave wall and looked further down into the tunnel.

"I won't rest, not yet," Bulkhead muttered to himself and started taking few steps forward before falling to his knees.

Boulder transformed and stood by his side. "It's already been a day already and getting closer to noon. We should com in and ask for medical assist," The engineer bot suggested.

"I....won't stop...until we...find....Miko," He tiredly replied. The other set him up against the cave wall, himself needing recharge as well. Bulkhead repeatedly attempted to leave the cave, but Boulder kept refusing for him leave.

"Miko....she could get..." Bulkhead muttered and gotten up. Boulder set his down for the fifth time and looked at his wound. "Can you com in your medic?" He asked and Bulk nodded.

"Ratchet?" The wrecker rasped weakly. "Bulkhead, is something wrong?" The medic asked worry clear through the com. "At least we have a signal," Boulder noted. "Ratchet, if that is your name, Bulkhead is leaking Energon and is getting low from the leakage."

A bridge opened to the left of them. Ratchet leaped from the bridge and noticed two green figures near a wall. He grumbled something  and fixed the wound quickly. "Have you found anyone yet? " Ratchet asked quickly as he stepped back closer to the ground bridge.

Anger rose in the wrecker's bulky frame as he stood up and shook off the pain. "Bulkhead! What are you doing? " Ratchet growled and set him back down. "Going to get Miko!" Bulkhead snapped and transformed.

"But your hurt, " Boulder said quietly and stepped forward. "Miko could be hurt also, so can you're human too, do you even car about them?" The wrecker growled. Ratchet gave him a not-at-this-time glare.

"I care about everyone And we do want to save our friends, but now, we need to regenerate energy so we can continue on," Boulder stated and the medic slowly nodded. "Well I will com you when I need to refill on Energon, now of you don't mind, I will be off," Bulkhead growled and slowly took off.

"Follow him, he might get harmed,"The medic ordered and gave him a syringe with blue liquid in it. He nodded and transformed, following after the SUV.

Ratchet sighed and pinched the bridge of an imaginary nose and turned to walk into the ground bridge when he heard the rambling of multiple engines approaching. He hummed and turned to look at the cave entrance, his amputation blades being transformed as he watched.

He waited, his green optics focusing until a blue and red semi truck came into view. "Optimus!" Ratchet yelled in sight of him. The semi truck transformed and a police car and fire truck  done the same next to him.

"Any news, Old Friend?" He asked,  a little bewildered to find him out here. "No, just helping out Bulkhead..." The medic responded quietly and silence passed afterwards.

"Uh, Ratchet... A transmission came in," A voice spoke through the open com. They all shared looks and Heatwave tapped his arm impatiently, attempting not to be rude.

"Let's go, it could be important," Chase stated and walked through the ground bridge. The others nodded and quickly walked through, finding Graham trying to work some stuff out.

"A transmission came through, that's all I could make out from this... Writing..." The engineer informed and stepped to the side. Ratchet only nodded and type something in as he shielded the base more.

"I see you have a search party out for the human pests," Airachnid sneered at the other end. "What have you done to them, Airachnid?" Optimum queried as he stepped forward.

"Nothing much," She responded flatly as she stepped out the way to reveal a struggling Raf, Jack, and Mike and one unconscious bleeding Cody.

Chief Burns gasped and his family looked at the spider 'con. Cody started to stir as his eyes averted from the ground to them.

"Give us your location now!" Heatwave growled and slammed his fist into his servo. "I rather give you hints and watch this game unfold," is She sneered.

"Try checking some previous locations, you may find me there."

I know, I know, it has been a long time since I last updated this. Lots of stuff has been going on with others stories, life, school and all that other blah blah stuff.

I think it's been about a month or two since I last updated...

Oops....

I will try and go on with this since it's getting a little boring but I am pushing through.

I have not given up yet!
