We have put him in a medical induced coma but it seems to not be working for his cause. We need you at the hospital as quick as possible to talk about his state more. I'm sorry that you did not here of this earlier."
Sobbing, I try and ask a question but it just doesn't come out. I'm mind blown, speechless even.
"Miss? Are you still there?"
Get your shit together, Y/N. Say something.
"I'm sorry, I just don't know what to say. Why did you contact me instead of my mother?"
"We have been trying to contact her for the past couple hours but it seems her phone is shut off or not working. Your the last emergency contact on your fathers medical card."
"Okay. When should I be over?"
"As soon as possible would be great. Thank you Y/N, I hope to see you soon."
"Thank you. Bye."

Sam: babe... what's wrong?
G: me and mads can take you rn. Just give us a min
Y/n: I'll tell you guys what happen. Just meet at the county hospital. I need support
Nate: I'll be there
JJ: riding with you guys obviously
Sam: you know I'll be there

Once we pull up to the hospital, I don't even try to run up to the doors like everyone else does, I take my time.
Slowly stepping into the automatic doors, the front desk lady and I make eye contact.
"Hello sweety. What can I do for ya?" She kindly says.
"H-hello. Um I c-came here to s-see my fa-father. His n-name is (INSERT FATHERLY FIGURES NAME)"
"Oh yes. We've been expecting you. He is in room 274. I'll send the doctor in so you two can chat."
"Th-thank you."
