7. Between the lines

Jun had left, he had to go to work with Minghao. Now I was just sitting in the lazyboy, reading on my phone.

"What are you doing?" Seungkwan said as he came in. "playing a game" I lied. The reason I lied is simple, I'm reading a boyxboy fanfiction. The story was about a ship in my favorite boy group.

I didn't really want Seungkwan to see that I love gay love. He could think that I will go around this house stalking them if they were beeing touchy or friendly. I'm not saying I won't do it, I would just rather not let them know that.

"what game?" he asked, he had taken a seat on the couch. I quickly closed the app and found a game I had on my phone.

"it's a tricky question game," I said. "You want to try?" I handed him the phone. "sure," he took the phone and looked at the screen. He looked focused. He turned the phone upside-down, then he shook it.

"what is the level, let me see," I said. "Oh you are supposed to drag them away from each other with two fingers," I said giving him the phone back. He did what I told him and he looked happy. I leaned back and relaxed.

👻👻BOO! Seungkwan POV (you weren't expecting that were you?)

I got a few levels right but then got to one I couldn't get. I was about to ask Seungyeon about it but as I looked at her I found out she had fallen asleep.

This would be the perfect opportunity to get back at her after she almost give me a heart attack yesterday.

I looked through her phone, searching for the camera app.I took a few photos of her sleeping, I know she wouldn't like it. But this is revenge.

After taking the photos, I started looking at her recently used apps. I opened one and issues greeted by text. I read a little; 'he walked closer to him, his arms reached around his waist.'

What was I reading? I kept reading; 'he leaned in, his eyes where lost in his lovers eyes-' okay woah what does she read? Boy love?

"did I fall asleep?" Seungyeon yawned. I quickly closed the app I was reading in. I didn't mean to but I read a lot of the boy love story.

"yes," I cleared my throat, trying to not look like I was reading and enjoying a boy love story. No I wasn't enjoying it, but I could somehow relate to them, all the touches and loving looks. I did get those from my best friend.

"How long have I been asleep?" she asked. " I'm not sure, I didn't look at the time when I found out you were asleep," I answered. "what where you doing then?" she asked. Oh no, I didn't expect that. I hadn't prepared to answer that question, I couldn't say I was playing the game, because I was stuck and I couldn't have been using all that time on that one level and not pass it.

"I started playing the game but got stuck on a level, and then I was going to play another game but I accidentally locked the phone and I couldn't get into it. So I've just been thinking" I hope she believes me.

"Who just, thinks?" she asked getting up and taking her phone from the table. "some people do that when they have a lot on their mind, like right now, I'm questioning my se-" I cut myself off. Nope! I was not going to say that out loud, not even for me to hear.

"what were you questioning?" suddenly Vernon was standing there, asking me the question. "Nothing! Just forget it" I said standing up and walking to my room. As I walk past Vernon I looked him in the eyes. I wanted to be sure.

Seungkwan disappeard into his room. "what was he talking about?" Vernon asked me. "I don't know" I said. "Do you really not know or are you hiding something from me?" he asked, his voice getting more annoying, and annoyed also. "Do you really not believe me?" I asked, I was really annoying me now.

I unlocked my phone and the tricky game was open. "no, I don't trust you!" I opened the fanfiction, but the text was in another place, what chapter was this? "are you ignoring me?" I opened the chapter selection. Last time I was reading I was on chapter 8, now I was in chaper 16? "answer me!" did Seungkwan read this?

"Did I hear something? It sounded like an animal that was dying," I said, still ignoring Vernon.
