Forever (Zayn Malik & Demi Lovato Fanfic)

Chapter 1

A/N: This is my very first fanfic. I read a lot of peoples stories and notice not a lot write about Zemi stories. For some reason i would ship them, anyways hope you enjoy this fanfic.

"Jaelynn's crying" I whispered over to Zayn, who was asleep on his side. He groaned with a smile. I lightly kissed his cheek, and carefully made my way out of bed.

"No, I would like to get her" He said instantly jumping off the bed. I nodded and watched him jog to Jaelynn's room. "Hey, daddy's got you, it's ok" I heard him soothing her, as I walked over to our daughter's door. She continued to cry loudly making Zayn nervous. He turned hoping to see me there. "What do I do" he panicked.

"Sing to her, it relaxes her" He half smiled and turned his focus on Jae. He began to sing his part to more than this.

"I never had the words to say, now I'm asking you to stay, for a little while inside my arms" He sang to her. Jae's cries turned into small whimpers, then soon small snores. "She snores like you. Beautifully"

"Shut up" I giggled silently. "Your a great dad" I said as he placed our fragile daughter in her crib. He smiled taking my hand, and walking up to the crib to watch our daughter sleep.

"I try to be, you know, since I don't see you guys very often" His smile turned into a frown. He caressed Jaelynn's cheek and looked at me.

"I know" I said knowing how he felt. "I feel the same" We have been in out of the studios lately working on new songs.

"Let's cancel our plans tomorrow, and have a family day" He suggested. I thought about it, but then again, my neon lights tour was coming faster then I wanted it to, and I haven't rehearsed. "Please Demi" He whispered. His smile killed me every time.

"Ok I'll call Phil tomorrow" we both walked out the room and into ours. "You should call the boys over, they haven't met her yet" I told Zayn. Liam, Louis, Niall, And Harry haven't met our little bundle of joy, since the day I had her because they were still on tour. Zayn had to come home early to see her. Sure he missed me having her, but I was glad he made the effort to come.

"Sure, now gets some rest Princess, we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow" He lightly pressed his lip on the side of my head and snuggled his way to my side.

The next morning, I woke up to Zayn singing, and things moving around the kitchen. I quickly walked to the restroom, did my business, then walked over to the kitchen to see what was going on.

"Morning Princess!" He exclaimed when he saw me. "I'm making pancakes if that's alright" he asked. He had baby Jaelynn in her bouncer next to him as he cooked. It was the cutest thing I ever saw.

"Morning Babe! Sounds and smells good" I rubbed my tummy, trying to make him my cute face. He let out a chuckle and kissed my cheek.

"Jae babe. Close your eyes Daddy's headed for mommy's lips" Zayn said. I giggled and shook my head, but also letting him peck my lips.

"Did daddy call your uncles" I asked Jae in my baby voice. Zayn knew I was talking to him though.

"Yes love, they'll be here in twenty" he laughed and continued to cook. "So, I know you hate me bringing this up but, what's going to happen to Jae while we tour. You know we have to go back to work" I nodded and rolled my eyes. His back was facing me so, I stood up and hugged his waist from behind.

"I really don't know" I said sighing with sadness as I looked over at our bouncy baby. "She's too small to be going with either one of us so, it's best she stays with my mom" I walked over to Jae and sat by her bouncer.

You can say I was the protective mother, but then again that's my only child. She is my pride and joy, my life. So leaving her while Zayn is half way around the world, and I'm in the other half is going to be hard. She isn't going to have at least one parent there for her, to watch over her.

"Baby?" Zayn knelt down next to me and sat me in his lap, while holding Jae's small, delicate, little hand. "She'll be alright, I promise. I don't feel like leaving her side either, but we do need to work to give her and provide her the things she wants and needs. Look, we'll tell Maddie to skype us and we can three way call it, huh?" He did his goofy smile making smile.

"Ok, but it won't be the same. What if I miss her first words or her first steps. These are things we can't miss being young parents or beginner parents" he looked at me serious, and chuckled.

"Love, she's only two months. We won't miss a thing" I laughed knowing he was right. He kissed my forehead, then Jae's. The door bell rung making Zayn excited. "Come on" He grabbed my hand and took Jaelynn off her bouncer.

"Malik my boy, how are you mate" I heard Louis say. I giggled and took Jae from Zayn. I sat in the couch, looking at them smile and hug each other like they haven't seen each other in years.

"She's tiny" Liam said walking over to me. "Can I hold her" He asked nervously. I nodded and patted the couch for him to sit. I placed her in his arm, helping him support her head. "You guys made a beautiful little girl" Liam admired her and kissed her forehead.

"What's her full name" Niall asked, as he hovered over Liam's shoulder, trying to get a glimpse of baby Jae. I looked at Zayn who loved saying her full name.

"Jaelynn Andie Hope Malik" They all smiled at the name, and so did I. I guess it's the way Zayn says it puts a smile on my face. "We did make a beautiful daughter" Zayn whispered to me. I looked over at the boys admiring Jae.

"Yeah we did" I said softly.

"May I ask a question" Harry asked. We nodded. "Why Hope? It's a lovely name and all, but why" he asked curiously.

"While I was pregnant, they said it was a possible chance she wasn't going to make it" I said remembering that devastating news. I had cried allot that day, knowing Zayn and I might not have a child. "Zayn, actually wanted to name her that when we found out she was going to make it"

"Well, I did hope she was going to make it, and look at her now, enjoying a lovely Friday morning with her uncles" We laughed looking at a smiling Jaelynn.

"Would you guys like to stay for breakfast" I asked the guys. Niall being Niall, ran to the kitchen table, and sat waiting for us. "I'm guessing that's a yes!"

We ate with the guys, then made them take care of Jaelynn while Zayn and I got ready for the day. We all decided to go to the park to take Jaelynn, just to show her around since, she's only two months.

"Ready?" Zayn asked grabbing Jae's pamper bag from the bed. "did you get Jae's bottle" He asked. I walked over

to her room and grabbed her formula.

"Yup, let's go" he smiled and wrapped his fingers around mine. We met the boys outside, and jumped into Harry's Black SUV.

We lived in a secure area, so no paps or Fans to run around after us. The park was empty minus the birds flying around. It looked really nice.

"Uncle Niall is going to take you to the slide" Niall smiled taking Jaelynn in his arms. Zayn and I sat down enjoying them have fun with our little girl.

"Princess? it's been awhile since we had dinner. So, can we go out today" Zayn asked resting his chin on the top of my head.

"Sure, where did you have in mind hun?" I felt him smile and kiss my head.

"It's a surprise" I looked up at him with begging eyes. "babe don't do that" He placed his hands on my face coving it. "you know I give in to it" I giggled and nodded. "you'll love it" he whispered.
